  • Ryan Spencer in Foundation WTF!

  • warsaw. you can divide this word into 2 another words; war and saw! in polish. wojna & piła

  • @gasiczsnk Tell me man. I am brazilian and I want visit Poland. How about the violence, crimes, transport, language I want to konw if I can use enlglish in hotels, travelling in the country things like that.

  • @gutenberg80 Violence and crime is not bigger than in France or Germany. Polish language is difficult even for me ;). In big cities Poles speeks English better than Italians or Spaniards, but in the coutry you may have some problems with comunication. Generaly, Poles are rather friendly, and trying their best to be helpful for the strangers. The prices are much lover than in Germany, the mass transport standards are rather low. But in the end it's beautiful country. My coutry ;)

  • Of course here in Poland you could have problems with english communications with elder people... but here are a lot of young helpfull youngsters ho speaks english or another languages - probably not portugese - rather german, czech, french and spain.

In hotels are mostly young employes that are keen on english or (!) google an other translators! if you are not Polish socjologist ask me about Poland on dzieli@wp.pl - I would replay.

  • @dzieli222 "young helpfull youngsters" what the fuck man, what the fuck

  • @dzieli222 Thak you man for your help. I think poland is the most fascinating country in europe. • this song fucking owns everyone else. period

  • JD were always energetic live, just check out any footage or the bootleg audience recordings. It was Hannett's rubbish moody production that made the band sound lifeless on record

  • 3 1 G

  • and we thought the first generation of punk never ended. how wrong we where.....

  • Greetings from Warsaw dudes!

I'm a believer in Joy Division! Halleluyah!

  • @ClementineFlFlFl you replied to yourself?

  • @firewolfstone Yes sorry you right LoL

  • please yutube>>>dont show me yur adverts...

    I just cant stand them...

  • 'back in the day' when i would hear this in tony hawk, and long before i knew joy division to be the sophisticated artists they are and instead imagined them just to another bunch of contemptful, spitting punks, i merely thought ian was reading off random numbers, as if to say 'i'm too punk to count off in the correct numerical order'. of course now i get the hess references, but at that time had no idea the opening went any deeper than 'yeah, we don't use SOCIETY'S numbers'

  • this version sounds like if the band had drank a whole gallon of dextrometofan

  • @zpoyly

Do you mean because of the phasing? The drums here sound so fucking awesome.

  • @00bilz that could be it, but is that most of the time i listen to it live and raw in their bootlegs and once in a while in "substance" thats why, greetings my friend from baja california.

  • 1 person didn't get his damn sammich when he went to Warsaw.

Also, I thought the beginning of this song was "Fee, fi, fo, 1 2 3 4!"

  • 350125 was the amount of days Ian curtis has lived :0

  • @theofficialstagerage 959 years? :/

  • @theofficialstagerage yu talk some shit lol

  • @EoghanDog Meh, i shouldnt have put that, R.I.P Ian Curtis Anyway

  • Im all for todays youth being bombarded by great music while gaming , i dont understand people deriding them for developing a taste for it that way.

  • I really don't understand some people... Are you like 5 years old? Do you really need a videogame to teach you about music?

  • @prisionnerofsociety no i first heard this on the warsaw album but heard it again a million times on THUG 2 and from that point on i love this song

  • the punk nazi thing was always a joke, made by the children of people who beat the nazis and would beat them again, are you listening "religious" ultra- conservative america?

  • lindo!

  • The flirtation with Nazi imagery by British punk and post-punk bands of this era always kinda made me uncomfortable. I've always understood it as an aesthetic way to reject the world of their parents' (who actually fought WWII) generation, done more for shock than actual Nazi sympathy, but Joy Division were great enough that they didn't need to do stuff like that to get attention. All the cryptic Rudolf Hess references just continue to confuse people.

  • Who ever is the asshole that disliked this song get the fuck outta here

  • @Avellino50 i'm pretty sure he's gone by now..

  • Tony Hawk's Underground 2 FTW!

  • Don' t forget about Rudolf Hess !

  • Riff is sound like Raw power by Iggy and the stooges

    but like two band

  • yay!

  • Actually, the memorial stone of rudolf hess needs to be stolen instead of Ian Curtis his memorial stone...

  • What's the guy on the left called?

  • @Zethiwag Stephen Morris...the drummer.

  • definitely the best of the THUG 2 soundtrack

  • @dudethekids Shit I knew this song was familiar.

  • @dudethekids

    Couldn't agree more.

  • @dudethekids with the "help" of this game I found my way to Joy Division - thank you THUG2! :D

  • I knew the Swing Kids version for a long time and I just now found out it was a Joy Division song. Weird, I knew Joy Division had a song called Warsaw but I figured it was a different song.

  • @johanthepirate exact same with me.

  • well slap my ass and call me yolanda

  • this song is fuckin awesome

  • Joy Division were called previously called Warsaw

  • Im from poland and love this song nice music :)

  • love this shit

  • This was the first JD tune I heard over 20 yrs ago. This awakened many things for me personally.

  • Warsaw is the capital of mt Country ;o

  • My favorite JD song.

  • My favorite Joy Division song.

  • Wow... Doesn't even really sound like Joy Division... :S

Sounds like The Faction or Agent Orange...

Probably the most punk a post-punk band has ever been.

Set aside, i fucking love this song =D

  • "i can still hear the footsteps.

    i can see only walls

    i slid into your man-traps,

    with no hearing at all.

    .......

    awesome lyrics...

  • "In Joy Division's song "Warsaw", lyrics include reference to Hess' prison number, 31G-350125, and many believe the song to be about Hess. To add to this, Bernard Sumner once shouted "you all forgot Rudolf Hess" from the stage at one of their gigs. "

  • Tis indeed Ian on vocals

  • 350125 Go!

  • @BLACKanimebrother 31G-350125 -Rudolph Hess' prison number.

  • is this Ian singing?
