wow. thanks alot! that really helped :) hmm, do you think you can do one on how to cooralate your fingers and bow when playing 16th notes and such? cuz im 1st chair viola at my highschool and im having a problem with that to where its not accurate & i feel im misleading the other viola players! if you could do this, id greatly appreciate it! please and thank you! :)

I am 46 and have a viola in my closet, I have not played sence the 7th grade that is almost 35 years ago, I now have 2 chidern of my own. I want them to learn. I could kick myself for not contenuing my lessions. my kids will play if it kills them

That's a bit sad to force your child to play something that they may not like. I for instance chose to play the violin. No one else made me play it, just myself. Those who aren't motivated will only 'learn' how to play, they will never excel and be better than that.
