I have a serious problem with my i8510... The battery lifetime is like max. 1 day anything I do... I'm charging it all night, and till the end of the day it shows 3 bars... in the morning I can't even turn it on... There are NO apps running in the backgound, it's on gsm mode, no wlan scanning. I have garmininstalled, but the background service is unabled...

Please Help!

@biker19860708 dude i have the same problem.....the battery duration is so low....i have to charge my phone 3 times a day....it show 3.7 volt.....but it works like 2 volt....what to do? i am helpless as well.......

@luckyahad Fortunately I kinda solved the problem, but it's still having some days when it's getting low pretty fast. mine is really sensitive at the micro usb port, it doesn't accept all chargers... Now I'm charging it with an HTC usb charger and a nokia cable.

If you have Garmin installed, it's kinda running all the time whether you not see it (I heard that). When I uninstalled it, the battery life got back to normal. I'm charging it every 2nd-3rd days. Also an sw reinstall can be helpful.

this phone is great but I really dont like the joystick thing , it is rather annoying and the keyboard is not great as it seems , i got a hard time getting used to it ...the camera is fantastic , the best camera ive ever had ...overall, this phone is not bad , the design is its advantage , if you want a good camera phone , its a good choice but a handy phone , its not :(

Hi, quick question. I have the old LG Viewty and it uses the exact same slider thing as on this phone. The thinger that changes from video to camera.. Well on my LG i accidentaly broke it somehow and now the only way i can take videos is by inserting a video into a text and recording a new one. This fails cos the only way to get onto a video recorder WAS THAT SLIDER THING. Is it the same with this or is there a back up way. EG: Just on the Videos menu or summat..

yea you made a good choice, but the n96 isnt a bad choice either...however the c905 isnt even close to the power the n96 and i850

yea you've made the same mistake that millions of other people keep on making. Sharpness depends more on your photographic skill than the number of megapixels, because most people's sloppy technique or subject motion it blurs the image more than the width of a microscopic pixel. so unless your gonna print out a poster 50 feet high you'll be okay with 5 mp.

i believe the true failure behide the n96 is its processor and battery life compared to the i8510.

n96 has a really small battery. it has a slower processor than its predecessor, the n95 8gb. the innov8 battery lasts a much, much longer time than the n96.

the innov8 is a clear winner in my opinion.

The Innov8 is better at shooting video (VGA at 30fps) while the C905 shoots VGA at only 15fps. So The Samsung Innov8 would be my choice!.

You're wrong, they are both 30fps, but the C905 is QVGA instead of VGA like the innov8. If you view video only on your phone, it really makes no difference. QVGA is 320x240, VGA is 640x480. Basically QVGA X 2 is VGA.
