You can, but be very careful. The zombies will turn to hit the closest target when immobilized and the Decimate lowers everyone else's health too. :)

I notice you're using Cheetah, Concussive, Arcane and Multi. Are you using anything else for speed, such as boots with run speed? Also what others things are being employed here to slow down the chow? I don't think I saw you dropping frost traps but they are slowed a lot of the time. Are those shammy totems slowing them down or is somebody else doing something to help slow them down? Great job by the way. Thanks for helping out other hunters figure out effective ways of kiting.

I was actually dropping Frost Traps. It's kind of hard to see, but if you watch it in high quality you can see the cooldown go off when I place them. No one else in the raid was responsible for slowing them down, just me. If a Shammy did drop a totem I wasn't aware of it.

I really like your video, because at the moment im learning kiting at Gluth but its a little bit difficult for me. My problem is, that the healers get the aggro all the time. It would be very nice if you could make a tutorial video, where you discribe, which skills you use while kiting the zombies.

Or maybe you can write them into the comments.

From what I use, generally (as a hunter) I grab them with Arcane or multishot. and then, once I have them, I would hit them with serpent sting, that way I get the additional aggro from the sting.

Did you use Aspect of the Cheetah? Or does it just look like, that you're running faster?

Seems to be a good idea but only if you are serious enough and dont get hit by the zombies.

Nevertheless what is about Distracting Shot? For me it's one of the most important ones.

I would assume one would use Glyph of the monkey/dragonhawk- when you dodge with dragonhawk or monkey up, you go 30% faster- it avoids the daze time, while making it so if you get hit you can get away fast.

No raiding hunter would waste a glyph spot on dragonhawk. He's using aspect of the cheetah the entire time.

hmm... lehn you're probably right, since i only ever played hunter as PvP (my first 70, you know how it is ;P) although, if i was a hunter, i might re-glyph. i forget the exact terms/conditions on drghawk glyph though. i doubt i could kite like this on my hunter. XD probably cause i haven't played him in almost a year.

Thanks for the video. Got 25 man tommorow. I don't know if they'll want a hunter on this job, or lump a paladin there, but I feel a little more confident about it if they put me to the task =p

Good to hear! Remember if you are doing 25-man they won't have anyone solo kiting since there are 3 spawn points. Just make sure to coordinate what method of kiting people want to do and which spawn you should be at! Good luck.

Cheers for the reply :D. Wasn't used as a kiter at all, but they wanted my frost trap down 100% of the fight. Because of that, I was the best positioned to pull loose zombies, off my own initiative might I add =p.

Thanks. Do raids usually sign a like "back up" person in case that something goes wrong. Cuz if vids I saw a druid using tidal wave or w/e. If most raids do that will really take pressure off me when i have to finally do this tomorrow.
