islamic scholars are different abt whether music is taboo or not.some say it's taboo and they got proof and they are right.some say it's ok and they got proof and they are right.a great islamic rule: agree to disagree :) the great companions did that ... they would disagree but without judging the other person to b wrong.a student once gathered all argued about issues in 1book and told the imam shall i call it the book of "difference" ? and the imam said no...call it the book of " wideness " :)
