Also guys the games influenced each other to some degree and yes Sc marines do have some bio implants and the armour does increase physical strength although the are still MUCH weaker than any space marine. I am a Sc and Warhammer 40k wikepedia reader so I think I would know quite well.

@notenufdaka Actually rounds are not delayed its actually state of the art sensor technology which senses it is within a body, that is why it has a MUCH HIGHER rate of actually exploding in the body rather than a time delayed inferior version. It is also a mas reactor cell in compact so it is not normal explosive... its REALLY EXPLOSIVE. Btw yes I play SC 1 and 2 and WC and civilization I to V and Alpha centuri. So I get pretty much all that is going on and frankly, a space marine is stronger

Eh, Ultramarines are the generic Chapter. They are the Chapter that all others are compared to, but this makes them a bit more boring. Still awesome, they are space marines after all, just bland. They don't hunt their former brothers like Dark Angels or have a deep rivalry like the Dark Angels and Space Wolves, or never stop Crusading like Black Templars. They aren't even skull-on-dick insane like Imperial Fists, who don't know how to retreat. Still awesome though.

Why is it everybody hates the Ultramarines? Is it because they defeated a Hive Fleet head on unlike a certain other chapter (Blood Ravens) or is it because almost 2/3 of all the 2nd founding chapters where decedents from them? I like them cause there color scheme is pretty cool and they pretty much reformed the imperium after the emperors death. I'm not saying that there superior than every other chapter, but there pretty cool in there own way.

@riceball999 For me it's not on looks. The whole idea behind the space marines irritates me. The godlike nature of the emporer for one. The whole imperium of man is a religious dictatorship. The basic philosophy is if you don't like or opose the idiology of the imperium, then you must die. Personally i think that in a moral sense, the Tau have it right. But it's a lot more fun to be evil, hence why i like Chaos ^_^ In regards to looks, Chaos simply look awesome with all the spikes and horns :D

Their armours physcic wards incoleve 1 witch for every glyph on theri armour. Around a cuple aof hundred per peice i guess. And then they are all phycic. What happened to the last trusted chapter (thousand sons) that had tons of psykers in it. In truth the grey knights do good by being evil.

Horus had sent a huge portion of the Word Bearers Legion to attack the Ultramarines in their home System, hoping to cripple them in a surprise attack.. The Ultramarines are also said to have destroyed a traitor fleet en route to support Horus when they were on their way to Terra, further relieving the defenders. it was no fault of theres for not showing up
