  • You should invest in "Resource Furniture" look them up.

  • Is the kitchen in your room. If so then are ya sure it's not a hotel. Lol but urgent than that I kinda like it

  • Something I've noticed frequently with NYC studios is having a dishwasher..terrible waste of space. How much cooking are you really going to do in a studio/dishes are you going to dirty? For the smalllll sacrifice of hand-washing, you'd have a large cabnit for storage in that spot. So silly. Chicago studios of the same size never never have a dishwasher.

  • how close to transport...

  • lol im from nyc and no way is that 3,000 probably more like 1,000

  • @donovan2010c Are...you...kidding....me. Any studio, much less one that isn't vintage, runs at least $1,800 and that is the rockkk bottom low end/best deal you'll find for a dump in like, say Alphabet City...average price of a studio on the island, the mean, is $2,400. How are you from the city? Moved a decade ago?

  • @avocadotalk i live in manhattan and i lived there my whole life. 3,000 is too expensive for that space. I have no idea what your talking about but I live in a one bedroom in the financial district and and pay less than 3,000.

oh and studios in the beekman towers cost less than 2,400 and that is one of the nicest spots in nyc. so i have no idea what the fuck your talking about.

  • @avocadotalk do you even live in the city? i don't pay that much and i have a one bedroom in the financial district

  • @donovan2010c Furnished apt of that size and quality = $3,000. Right on the nose.

  • @avocadotalk oh my bad, but i live in manhattan and you got a bad deal. the price is probably because of the view.

  • @markrhodesykiwi $3000 is quite expansive for that small space apartment but then again it's NYC.

  • That's the Empire state building. It's blue for the Columbia university grads

  • how can you not know what the empire state building is?? and i haven't even been to the u.s ;)

  • oh shit Port Authority bus terminal. those buidings look long abandoned from the bus view lol.

  • what it costs per month

  • lol that huge building is the Empire State Building. It's kinda famous.

  • Lucky you!!!! Can we trade?lol

  • looks like a Best Western

  • Trash...

  • I live in the city. you can't get much of a better place than that

  • Cool place, thanks for showing us! :D

  • your place is awesome. wanna trade? lol.

  • how must do you pay a month! ????

  • It's the Empire state building.. haw haw haw.

    How much a month?

I live at 43rd and 8th for a room that is remarkably similar.

    Except I'm a slob.

  • How much per month on average (including your utilities)?

  • i would say probably around $2,000 USD a month. this area sucks though. anything north of 14th st sucks for young people.

  • You sound like Jemaine from Flight of the conchords.... lol

  • lol he does

  • kinda yeah, but jermaines is way deeper.

  • Funny. I live in that building and I was just doing a search on the address and found your clip. Hope you enjoyed your stay in NYC :)

  • Hey all - the apartment was paid for by the company I work for so I'm not sure how much it cost. If I had to guess I would say around $3000 US a month. Manhatten is fricken expensive so if I was living in NYC longish term i'd either head somewhere close like Hoboken in New Jersey or Brooklyn. But Manhatten is expensive.

  • @markrhodesykiwi.. Brooklyn is expensive too, but not as expensive as Mahattan, you have to remember that most people that cant afford Manhattan tends to head to the BK!

  • @markrhodesykiwi that is an outrageous price to pay to live there!!!! My god!

  • Cool to see a NZer over there. I'd love to live in NYC after Uni but from everything I've read/reserached it seems way to expensive. Chicago looks really nice, and it's far cheaper. I just love big US cities and it would be my dream to live in one. Downtown, wood floors, interior brick walls, bright lights, yellow taxis... I can only hope.

  • It must have been one of those extended stay apartments? Not quite a hotel room, and not an apartment either? Good deal. I hope NYC was good to you. Just had a holiday in Auckland and Wellington in January. Beautiful country. Now it's back to Wall St.

  • I think that's the bus access ramp for the Port Authority Bus Terminal. That's why there's not much traffic. Do you live in the 42nd/8th street area?

  • Yeah that totally right - good spotting. The building is 440 west 41st street. But I was only there for 5 weeks and am back in New Zealand now which is great.

  • How much did you play for 5 weeks my brother? I am 30 mins drive from there! My goal is to visit down under one day.
