i started making my own bread a few days ago, so i dont have much experience. I tried to do the recipe today but... i think something went wrong... i ended up with a much more "wet" dough. my question is... is it necessary to bake the bread in a preheat oven or can i just put it in the oven and then set the temperature?
@paxh2o You can do that but I don't think that going to address the wet dough thing. That just requires adding more flour in the beginning than the recipe calls for.
@breadtopia i meant whether preheating the oven affects the raising of the dough! anyways, im doing the recipe again today! everyone liked the bread. Thanks!
Your bread looks fantastic. The recipe with all those spices and orange zest is mouth watering. Now I just have to get a sour dough together so I can try it.
I think you get better oven spring when you preheat it.

Thanks Ian. There is such a video on my Breadtopia web site. Maybe I should put it here too.

Would you consider creating a video on 'how to make sourdough - the complete steps.'
Your videos are excellent, very informative, easy to follow, and importantly, they produce results!
You come over as very genuine, and I hope you do not stop making your wonderful bread making videos.
Congratulations on every single one.

You should put your link on the side in annotation. Then we could take a look at your site without leaving You Tube. Thank you for the post
