This is real sad, this poor bear who should be roaming millions of square KMs is confined in a cage 1/millionth the size he needs, he is going mentally ill this is the cause of this behavior.

There is nothing funny about this, the Sad part is humans who have posted on this video thinks it funny.

This poor animal is just like all trapped animals in Zoos around the world, it's FREAKING Animal Prison!

I don't find this funny at all, this bear is exhibiting neurotic behaviors. It's bored and frustrated and it's really, really sad. Shows how awful the conditions are in some of our countries zoos. Makes me want to cry.

Before one saves the whole world, one must start with details. And my opinion is: Better polar bears die out instead of being imprisoned for eternity. People are not able to save animals, but this is no reason for zoos to collect each kind of animal and to present them in cages and prisons until the poor animal gets crazy.

only because they can not die in zoos for reasons like climat change they can suffer and go crazy (look at the video!!!). I know, a life in the wild also is hard and many bears have to die because of not finding food and so on. But their bodies and their brains have not developped for not being used.

and as far as cruelty goes just remember in the wild the animal has to fight for survival everyday constantly searching for its next meal. Yes some zoos need improvement mostly more room for animals to roam however, Polarbears are magnificant animals and i absulutly adore them however. There not human and don't sit there and think about past birthday partys and think back on restrospects of there life. Looks like he's 'weaving' - it's a stereotypical behaviour that zoo animals exhibit when they're so bored out of their skulls that they're literally going mad. It's a form of animal cruelty, and any zoo worth the name would have an 'enrichment' programme going on to stimulate the animals: hiding their food around the place, or giving them toys to play with.
