they dont call him the freak for nothing....wainwright's been consistent, but he plays with a good defense, plus his WHIP is terrible....carpenter has been dominant before, but he literally fell off the face of baseball with injuries, so no one knows if this is a fluke or not (he has pitched nearly as many innings as either Wainwright or Lincecum, less durable).......for the last two years, the best pitcher has been tim lincecum...K/9, WHIP, ERA....he's been at the top or near in every category
