@ubernerd35 Sorry everyone, I was wrong. This is a calculated move on LSV's part. He's holding back oran rief in hopes that he'll get 3 2/2 saproling tokens instead.

Wrong. You keep the Rief open for when it dies... when you get the Sap Tokens you can tap the rief for 3 2/2s instead of 1 4/4.

Boros plays lightning bolts... you have to be prepared for that.

I guess he was expecting to cump block a bushwhacked attack and then use oran reef to buff the saprolings. Maybe 3 2/2s are more impressive than just a 4/4?
