You´re right. I love the how Martina Gedeck plays the original Martha. She is so confused by normal human behavier, don´t understand relationships or why peple think that she is strange. All she knows about is cooking because she hat the control over ist. Oh my, her akwardness is so lovely and funny!
They even took some of the translated English part of this movie to No Reservations which kind of pissed me off because I wanted to see if they were going to make it any different.
copied the idea? I think they hired a good translator and just made the exact same movie in English. Everything is the same! sadly enough...

I haven't seen no reservations yet but indeed I understood that they've used this story pretty much...Happens all the time unfortunately....
