we use full sink or sink tip (30ft) lines to get down to them. short flat mono leaders of about 3-4 ft max. 200-250 grain lines seem to be about right for our area. hope that helps.

Great job guys, I was wondering what the technique would be to fish for them with the fly rod on the boat?
Weighted line? BB shot? let loose till sink to strike zone?
