insomniac here... 2:41 am wide awake. usually fall asleep at around 4-5 am sun comes up at 6 here (dubai - uae) sumtimes i see the sun come out. i take pills (melatonin wich u dnt need a prescription and summin else wich u do need a prescription for.) bored as fuck... think ill go av a smoke probs order some food and then hey who knows maybe ill go 4 a wank and another smoke then i might just fuckin fall asleep... any way night all,,,, sorry morning....2:44am

I totally can't sleep 2night!!!!! The sad thing is that whenever I can't sleep I have thoughts,u know what thoughts I mean. At times I can't handle all this stress by myself, but I don't want to drink my insomnia pills, they make me drowsy in the mornings & even with them it's difficult 2 sleep. I am embarrassed to talk about it, so I pretent that I am okay,but the truth is I am bad! I know u guys out there R not therapist but u R going through the same things $ won't call me crazy. PLEASE HELP!

Hey, don't feel embarrassed. I know how u feel. I've had weeks with no more than 5 hours sleep a night sometimes less. In the morning u feel so tired,wanna cry (sometimes I cried, just felt so weak). The doctor gave me some antidepressant. It helped,i could sleep 5-6 hours a night.

What helps the most is just to take a month off, if u can afford it,go somewhere, a place that makes you feel relaxed (I went to my parents)and just do nothing but chill, meet friends, take it easy. wish u good sleep

i suffer from insomnia and work a swing shift which is 7;30am-7;30pm one week and 7;30 pm to 7;30am the next, i dont think my body is ajusting to the sleeping cycle i have, been doing this for a little more than 3 years!!

LOL :D Seriously, I never knew you were a nightshifter. I'm more of an overtimer catching a late tube home. It's crazy, though, the entire financial block is so beautiful at night yet there's noone there. Empty buses, empty streets, empty offices. You're right, it would be cool to walk around in such a place at daytime with noone there. :D
