One of the best sketches on Jam. Short but sweet, and with a demented punchline that never fails to get me. I always thought Mark Heap was the best actor on the show, and this is one of the sketches that proves it.

Mark Heap is underrated, no doubt about it. I don't know why he doesn't get bigger parts.

This is fantastic... bit of a shame the title yet again ruined the joke somewhat.

Some of "Jam" tries a bit too hard to be dark, but this is effortlessly one of the most successful sketches in it, and one of the few times I genuinely worry for the sanity of whichever writer came up with it.

Love the Thomas Dolby loop from "Screen Kiss". It has the perfect sense of melancholy for this comic-gruesome sketch. Pity the rest of the song is all 80s and laced with all that dated fretless-bass. Like the way the fella has a white DJ on - either he's been out somewhere, or dressed up especially to deliver his message. Probably the latter. I have heard of cuckolds devising elaborate suicides for real...
