FAIL. Scanning passengers doesn't stop bombs from getting on airplanes. The aircrews, maintenance crews, cleaning & service crews, and baggage crews can place bombs on a plane. Also, most commercial airliners carry mail in the cargo hold so anyone with a few stamps can get a bomb onboard. Scanners are just a big FOR profit tax on passengers & has zero to do with terrorism. Every time I've flown in the past 3 years, I am ALWAYS 'selected' for the special screenings, special searching of my carry-on luggage, even searching through my hair because it's thick and curly and I often wear it pinned up. I understand safety, but it is ridiculous sometimes.
The TSA let me go though with a 2 liter soda and I told them are you going to let me on the airplane with this and the TSA didn’t care, than I said what if this was not soda and they still didn’t care, when I arrived at my destination I showed them the soda and said I was able to go on the airplane with this, the TSA then had that look like wtf you brought that on the airplane.

I was a TSA screener and I was amazed at some of the things I was told to do by my supposed superiors. I was an intelligence specialist and my friends were a ex navy commander and a guy six months from a masters degree in forensics, who got promoted? a former avon lady and a high school graduate.

Most of the TSA "agents" are entry level with no experience at all. A GED and a clean criminal record will get you in. The interesting thing is that they know who to harass. I can think of a few people that would have destroyed that place if they attempted this. Remember people, you have rights and if they are violated in this manner you will never have to deal with TSA again. A good attorney will yield a large monetary award in court and then you can buy a private jet.

Every time I've flown in the past 3 years, I am ALWAYS 'selected' for the special screenings, special searching of my carry-on luggage, even searching through my hair because it's thick and curly and I often wear it pinned up. I understand safety, but it is ridiculous sometimes.
