@beedieeyez, this song was released in 1978. I doubt you were even born then. Legend is a most overused word these days but Tom is definitely one of the last true remaining musical legends. Oh, and he isn't too bad an actor either. Just enjoy the music for what it is... honest, unlike a lot of shite that is released these days.

Probably the best ever blues song. It cuts into my soul every time I listen to it. Stunning lyrics, which I am sure could only be written by someone who had experienced heartache, but it's not just the lyrics, it's the way that Tom Waits delivers them; such feeling.
