i dont see the need for all this fan boy bullshit. i have a 360 and i love it. but i do wanna get a ps3 just for exclusives and bluray. i prefer the 360 becuz of itz sticks. they just fit better in my hands. and feel moe durable. now i do like the ps3 and i cant knock anything about it but i prefer the 360on any ports avalible so far but heavy rain god of war mgs and the likes i think make the p3 deff worth a buy.
the halo game usses microsoft/bungie servers to connect to people to each other, once the match is started a individual player is serving as a host. That's why there a many laggy games in halo and only 8vs8 allowed. if theyll have used deticed servers for halo as well they could boost it easyly to 32va32
to be honest this game isn't that fun,i beat the game on medium difficulty and after that i never wanted to come back to it,its a decent game but the replay value is bad and there is not many people online for it

Graphics, controls (can't play this on a controller, sorry but not gonna happen ever it moves to fast for a controller), mods, framerate(60 and more on PC but locked into 30 on consoles), dedicated servers, just about everything. And yes I have a 360, but you'd be crazy to say UT3 can be played with a controller.

Bullcrap. the 360 version of UTIII didn't even look better than the 360 version, and you'll NEVER see a Killzone game on the 360 in terms of graphics. You can't even name a game that can touch Uncharted or K2 on the 360, so quit lying.

Xbox 360 is a 5$ package. When ever I see the ps3 version or PC version it is selling for 50$-60$.
But the xbox come with extra characters, new and classic maps only available on xbox and it is only 5$. PS3 and PC are expensive and they don't come with all that extra content so you spend 60$ on the game and then 15$ on DLC.

I beleave the ps3 has exclusive content of its own, plus it can use mods, 360s dont have mods.
But this game is the best type of multiplayer game, its so customizable. You can change the way you play always and in so many sweet ways. Plus those vehicles are insane.
PS3 and PC versions of this game r exactly the same, they both got all the DLC. the 360 versions the worst, and i heard no one plays it. imma get it for PC cuz i dont got a PS3

the 360 one is good not many people play online that much its easy to find an online match however the pc one has exclusive contents thats free so if i had a fast running pc/mac i would get UT3 for the pc but thats my prefence
The people that hate the game, 60% are the people that liked Malcolm's character. It the previous ones, Malcolm was a strong, pridefull, silent type of a fighter = WIN. They completely changed Malcolm's character, and ruined it. I dont have nothing with the game, i never played it, but Malcolm IS the poster-boy of the UT series, and UT3 ruined hes imagine. Just imagine Mario joining up with Bowser.
I still play 2k4 on my pc. I just got around to renting this one for my 360 tonight, so my brother and I can play it. I'm gonna buy it as soon as I get the cash.
But I just want to go on the record for saying something. In all the reviews that I've heard, the people always say, "It's from the guys who made the Gears of War games, so the characters look the same." I want to point out, that the UT Series came before the Gears game, and most of the characters looked like that in the first one.
These games will always be good, but they'll never be great until Microsoft get their damn act together and implement mouse/keyboard settings for these types of games. The PS3 has something like that (with a mouse), but I'm not sure how well it works.

OMG!!!!!!!! this game...... i rented it and my eyes were tearing because because of how fast the game is. but im not sure if the game has voice chat... but this game is definite BUY for me. i rented it and almost cried when i had to give it back. so while i wait to get the money to buy it i got the original to help fill the void. and it did. its the same experience but a little faster. People can hide themselves easily behind computers, anonymity let's them act free.

i dont get the thing abot peoples obsession about COD4 i just dont get it. i dont think it sucks or anything, its just not as great as haloit doesnt feel as integrated as halo, not as involved in the gaming community as halo and halos custom games and party systems for multiplayer really made it better oh and forge, since i got halo everything else seems lacking, but Ut3 is gonna rule too.
i agree cod4 sucks. I dont like the character movement, all the maps are just squares with random blocks of shit everywhere, the helicopter strikes r fucking dumb. you cant eve jump over a 6 inch curb, you have to hit A to 'climb over it'.

i really dunno why people like halo so much. i played it, really tried to get into it and it was just soooooooo boring! same with online, doesnt seem as "alive" as UT3 or COD4.
I traded my COD4 for this game. I like COD, but lots of sniping, martyrdom, etc... Those were fun modes but I like the speed and intensity of UT3. Having played 04 ALOT, I found this game to be a bit slower, but for consoles that was a good thing. Another thing I enjoyed about this game was the fidelity of the graphics, sound and movement. It all just feels natural. As for the GOW to UT3 comparison and the n00bs that complain about it, do some homework before you spout.
i bought this game for xbox 360 and i really like it alot. There is one thing that drives me insane when i play the single player mode, if i move to the left or right a little then stop holding down left/right on the controler my character keeps on moving.... its really annoying... i took the game back and got another but it does the same thing. it cant be my controlers because it does it with every controler i have. anybody know how i can fix this problem?
hmm. i would suppose because when you started the game the controller's joystick may have been pushed in the direction of the movement. my gamecube's wavebird did this and my 360 does it once and a while. just restart your 360 with the controller left alone. cheers
Great game, the story is ok (the ending will make you want to play the next one) and playing against bots is very good theyre very very clever and xbl is ownage

the gameplay is mutch more intuentive (correct me if i spelld it wrong) than Call of Duty.

its not as good as pc version ( cause of the controlls) but it just rocks online !! for me one of the best online shooters near gears of war, halo 3 and F.E.A.R

OMG!!!!!!!! this game...... i rented it and my eyes were tearing because because of how fast the game is. but im not sure if the game has voice chat... but this game is definite BUY for me. i rented it and almost cried when i had to give it back. so while i wait to get the money to buy it i got the original to help fill the void. and it did. its the same experience but a little faster. I walked into a game and all that happened was this: respawn, die respawn, die respawn, die respawn, die! 10/10

People can hide themselves easily behind computers, anonymity let's them act free.
So for them it doesn't matter if they curse or insult you, they know you are powerless to stop them. The easiest thing is to ignore them really, people who do this can be kids or adults, some do it for fun others just to piss people off.
They wouldn't say squat to you if you appeared right next to them in real life.

Shadowrun is my favorite FPS,I like COD4, but my new favorite is Unreal T 3, it reminds me of playing Quake 3 on the Dreamcast,good times.

i dont get the thing abot peoples obsession about COD4 i just dont get it. i dont think it sucks or anything, its just not as great as haloit doesnt feel as integrated as halo, not as involved in the gaming community as halo and halos custom games and party systems for multiplayer really made it better oh and forge, since i got halo everything else seems lacking, but Ut3 is gonna rule too.

i agree cod4 sucks. I dont like the character movement, all the maps are just squares with random blocks of shit everywhere, the helicopter strikes r fucking dumb. you cant eve jump over a 6 inch curb, you have to hit A to 'climb over it'.
and now CoD5. and people were making fun of how many mario parties are out there >_>;

i really dunno why people like halo so much. i played it, really tried to get into it and it was just soooooooo boring! same with online, doesnt seem as "alive" as UT3 or COD4.

I traded my COD4 for this game. I like COD, but lots of sniping, martyrdom, etc... Those were fun modes but I like the speed and intensity of UT3. Having played 04 ALOT, I found this game to be a bit slower, but for consoles that was a good thing. Another thing I enjoyed about this game was the fidelity of the graphics, sound and movement. It all just feels natural. As for the GOW to UT3 comparison and the n00bs that complain about it, do some homework before you spout.

i bought this game for xbox 360 and i really like it alot. There is one thing that drives me insane when i play the single player mode, if i move to the left or right a little then stop holding down left/right on the controler my character keeps on moving.... its really annoying... i took the game back and got another but it does the same thing. it cant be my controlers because it does it with every controler i have. anybody know how i can fix this problem?

hmm. i would suppose because when you started the game the controller's joystick may have been pushed in the direction of the movement. my gamecube's wavebird did this and my 360 does it once and a while. just restart your 360 with the controller left alone. cheers

Great game, the story is ok (the ending will make you want to play the next one) and playing against bots is very good theyre very very clever and xbl is ownage
