And that is that. The only relation this song has to the with the concept of icarus - is that they were on a motion to reach the sun. So it was a fitting name.

What does it have to do with the hycarus myth? You talking about the guy that flew and fell because the sun burned his wax wings?
What about it? The lyrics of the music are copy paste of dialogs from a movie where the ship was called Icarus!
They had to blow an atomic bomb in the sun to re-enlight it.
"Filter up" Those dialogs took place in the room to see the sun's brightness.
