These trumpets clearly got game. No denying that. But to a trained ear there is room for improvement. The melody was rushed. It should have been a slow 4/4 and the melody could easily have been given to the 2nd and 3rd trumpets so the screamers could hightlight and pierce the music. As is, the bulk of the section has simply supporting the melody that was carried by the 1st trumpets/screamers. Not the best use of such a strong trumpet section.

When they started it sound pretty damn smooth. The trumpets sections in the lower register held their spots down, but the first trumpets were loosing it. Im not knocking it but from J. State I would love to hear their Bones play this they got a mean Bone section.
