@DDuckDown860 "while Eminem is doing collabo's wit lil wayne & rihanna". Your own self claim is as false as your own knowledge. He only did one song with rihanna "love the way you lie". @MAZEY22 People who like eminem know that Big Pun is Better, they just have to stand with their idol. But Everybody in the classroom knows whos the teacher. Punish on the Board 50X.........................
@The12Jacob ye we've heard those solid flowing skills but he samples lyrics and flowing styles and just look @ the lyrics not that complex just good vocab combined with rhyming
Big Pun is the greatest lyricist of all time with the second best flow (Jay Camel has the best flow). @ATENakaATON Brain Damage, Rock Bottom, Role Model, Just Dont Give A Fuck, Infinite, Its OK, 313, Open Mic, Renegade, Lose Yourself, Sing For The Moment, Cleaning Out My Closet, Underground, Biterphobia, etc. are all amazing lyrical songs/verses from Eminem. His flow is great too in most of these tracks. That's probably his best works. What u think is Eminems best flows and lyrics?
@young128 as for lyrics I can't think of any single song, but EMs underground work has very impressive word play, referring to the Slim Shady EP and work before it, as for flow, this I think is his best attribute, and he beats Pun in this department, I can't think of any particular song for this either, but his work from the Marshal Mathers LP and everything after has amazing flow. Current Eminem beats Pun in all spots except lyrics, Pun beats him in flow on work before the MMlp
@ATENakaATON All spots? There is only flow and lyrics. Those are the aspects of rapping. What you mean with all spots? Pun has also far better music. And far better flow.
@young128 there's originality of concepts (what's being rapped about matters), diversity of concepts and musical styles (club, introspective, story, etc), charisma, clarity of words being spoken, diversity of styles (styles could mean many things such as lyrically style, flow style, tone), conveying of tones/emotions, varying point of views (1st 2nd 3rd), diversity in demeanor/personality (serious, humorous, sad, happy, etc.), intelligence (how honest, complex, deep, factual, etc), etc
@young128 multiple flows, varying rap styles, projection of tone, clarity of words, etc are technical rap skills, I'll exclude what is being rapped about though, now that I think I better understand what you mean by "rapping." As for flow, currently Eminems flow is far superior in almost all of its varieties. I cannot think of one of Eminems styles of flow which he doesn't trump Pun, he could probably do Puns 3 or so styles of flow better than Pun himself could.
@young128 well yes and no, initially I had them separated, and had categories under different sections of rap music, but when it became apparent by what you meant by rapping, I removed some sections and tried to reapply everything I could as sub categories of lyrics which I had initially only defined as punchlines and flow which I had only defined as sync with the beat, you were right by default, it was a miscommunication which I didn't clarify I just changed my own definitions for you
@young128 in other words I have broken flow or the way the words are said into many categories, and I have broken the lyrics themselves into categories and sort of made a checklist, I added what is being rhymed about to the lyrics parts but in removing this and only recognizing the rhymes and punchlines themselves Pun wins clearly, but flow is the way the words are spoken and the categories cannot be removed as they are flow and Eminem wins this, but I find punchlines most important
@ATENakaATON You find punchlines more important? Lol. And its not how many sub-aspects a rapper covers, its how well he puts them to use to create great verses. U judge the overall verses, not sub-aspects. lol. and pun has far better lyrics n flow than eminem
@ATENakaATON Rap skills = flow and lyrics. Everything would fall under these two aspects because its either a tool or kind of flow or/and lyricism. You judge the overall flow and lyrics, not the mini sub-aspects like punchlines, metaphors, etc. alone.
@young128 I took rapping as a over arching career made of albums and an album has many aspects to it originating with he rapper which are not just technical rap skills alone, when you clarified the meaning of "rapping" I revoked my first concept and reapplied what I could to what your were typing, as the basis of determining who was better at rapping had changed it slightly altered my conclusion even though the general outcome was the same
@young128 When you listed off Ems songs I discussed who was a better rapper, by looking at their careers, not solely from the act of rapping. When you applied the word rapping to what I was talking about and stated Pun made better music I took it as you meant their careers, so I kept on with what I was talking about later you clarified what you meant by rapping, I realized you didn't mean career but exactly the word, you should have realized I was never just talking about rapping skill
@young128 I pointed out many things which are apart of a Hip Hop Artist other than rap skills, hell Tupac has far less rapping skill than his counterparts but he's seen as one of the greatest by so many for other reasons, I never once said anything specifically about rapping until you used the word, and I simply assumed by the context of what I was stating you were using it wrong.
@young128 So if you go back to my original post I was discussing who's a better rapper/hip-hop-artist, not who has better rap skills, I was reflecting on all of their careers, and Eminem has so many blemishes ever since the Marshal Mathers LP (when he got really good at rapping) it hurts him severely and everything he has before he got corny (imo) is so technically inferior to Pun I stated Pun wins. Simply put I would rather listen to any Pun album over any Eminem album.
@ATENakaATON yeah but first of all: WE TALKING the rap skills meaning how dope a rapper is itself. albums, etc. is all good but it has nothing to do with the rapping skills itself
@young128 when you started conversing with me I was not talking about just rap skills alone, i meant music, you assumed I was just talking about technical ability, and when you used the word music after the word rapping I simply assumed you were talking about more than rapping skills as well, as music envelops a lot of things
@ATENakaATON ok whatever... anyway pun shits on eminem. he had far beter flow and lyrics. cmon man. listen to Beware, fire water, etc. and tell me if eminem has ever flowed like that ...
@young128 Listen to Relapse or Recovery (if you can lol), when has Pun ever flowed like that? The flow was incredible, the sync with the beat was out of this world. However Eminems lyrics are not so strong, when Eminem has great flow it seems his lyrics are not as strong, over time his flow has improved but his lyrics have gone south. It's one or the other with Em, Pun always has it all, he always beats him on lyrics, but flow finally came around for Em. Only if Pun hadn't died.
@young128 I feel the same but not in flow. I would go and find a song off of Relapse but I can't listen to that shit again, lol, technically good but it's still bad music. But with both sides of rapping combined it sure does.
@young128 brave in the heart is good but the best verse is by triple seis...eminems made made alot more songs that is appreciated by real hip hop fans and general public...the only other rappers that real fans and general fans like is pac and big, but even those two were never as big as em overrall
@The12Jacob dude, I know what you're talking about when he puts stresses/emphasis on syllables that rhyme or when he slightly alters words.. that's not genius that's a cheap skill and way to rhyme and should only be used occasionally and Em hardly ever even uses that skill, lil wayne usually does it.. and Pun is way more of a multi syllable and lyricist then Em I'm soz dude I like Em but even I can admit that Pun is arguably the GOAT
@The12Jacob btw here's an example of how easy it is to bend words and be cheap lil wayne does it all the time like in the song "she will he tries" to rhyme beautiful with hoola-hoop.. he's such a sucky rapper that he has to bend the syllables just to make half way decent rhymes
@StreamerVideo "You god damn right bitch, AND now it's too late
I'm triple platinum and tragedies HAPPEN in two states" that's what i mean by bending words, it's also slant rhyming and clear enunciation, I don't think Em is the best though but there is no denying his lyrical skills, and yes Lil Wayne does suck, lol.
You guys always are comparing two totally different styles of rap. Eminem is lyrical and everything, but he has more of a goofy style. Big Pun is more in line with Biggie, or Tech N9ne in terms of lyricism and wordplay.
@chicagosports77 You do know Em has been in the game longer than Pun right? Does that make him better? not necessarily but it should make him a legend too.
@The12Jacob It dont matter how long they been in the game bro, It matters overall skill as a rapper, and pun is the better rapper! Ems good, but pun its better
@Slum666Elementz Yet your still focused of his old shit, just like a bunch of stan dick riders, have u listened to recovery yet?? shits on puns every albums
@AnthonyOrellana627 What are you smokin? Capital Punishment was a classic, shits on every Slim album...Relapse and Recovery were both garbage by the way, em only had two nice albums, SSLP n MMLP, both of which aint even in the same realm as Capital Punishment...and I am far from a stan, kid, Em aint on my playlist, kid
@AnthonyOrellana627 And I do find his older shit better, especially MMLP, had that shit when it came out, but ur right, Em can still be nice, like "Cold Wind Blows" and "Almost Famous" were deadly tracks, I just think Pun nicer
@AnthonyOrell I said I think Pun nicer, but I still wouldn't take away from Slim. The man, hands down, is a lyrical genius and should be recognized as one of the greatest mc's to ever hold the mic. I mean, his shit is on another level, especially his older shit, like Pre-Eminem Show, that's when I personally believe he was in his prime
@AnthonyOrellana627 As for recovery, I find most Em fans don't appreciate it cuz he aint rappin that same shit he known 4, he raps with more maturity, bout hardships or what not, and people keep wantin that old shit n can't accept the fact dat he changed or whatever, but lyrically, he is still incredibly dangerous, n his wordplay n flow, I believe right now, is the best in the fuckin game. I just don't consider him the best in my opinion, in my opinion, top 5 deadoralive is Pun, Big, Pac, L, Em
You guys need to hop off all the decist rappers. I understand they're good and i would put them in my top 10 (pac, big, big l, big pun). However, how is it that ALL the dead rappers are the greatest of all time? Wait till Em passes away, and we'll see how much of you hop on his dick.
isnt it weird how all da best died, pun, biggie, 2pav, big l....i bet u 2 day if der were still alive half of dem wudnt be as good as dey were b4 shit dey prob fall off...stop bashin Em and jay-z and 50 ppl..bash wayne idc
Em, no doubt! He has files - books upon books, just teaming with word-play scribble that is arsenal for new up-and-coming joints, so freestyle to Em is just a walk in the park, it's like a work-out, he kind of tests his skillz to beats like this, keeps what works, shelves the rest for later! This cat is prolific. Rakim even said it: to battle Eminem would be unwise; he's practiced and honed his art to a fine polish. Can't hate this, not if you're truly honest and truly a Hip-Hop head
eminem haters are the only ones who comment on these eminem vs. videos. watever keep sayin this shit about eminem and keep shitting on him but everybody else knows the truth. em is the greatest oof all time and would destroy rappers careers (canibus, ja rule, everlast, benzino) who says any different, hes ferocious in the booth. EM ALL DAYY, ASK THE RAPPERS WHOS THE BEST. look up the game interview about eminem
You people exaggerate Eminem. I admit, older Eminem was insane! He rapped like a true genius. But the new Eminem still gets credit for mainstream albums like Recovery and doing music with Lil Wayne <-------Worst rapper ever.

When you applied the word rapping to what I was talking about and stated Pun made better music I took it as you meant their careers, so I kept on with what I was talking about later you clarified what you meant by rapping, I realized you didn't mean career but exactly the word, you should have realized I was never just talking about rapping skill
ATENakaATON 1 month ago
@ATENakaATON rapping skills is what matters. its the skills. not the fame, the sales, the swags, the albums, the WHATEVER. THE SKILLS!!!!!
young128 1 month ago
@young128 I pointed out many things which are apart of a Hip Hop Artist other than rap skills, hell Tupac has far less rapping skill than his counterparts but he's seen as one of the greatest by so many for other reasons, I never once said anything specifically about rapping until you used the word, and I simply assumed by the context of what I was stating you were using it wrong.
ATENakaATON 1 month ago
@young128 So if you go back to my original post I was discussing who's a better rapper/hip-hop-artist, not who has better rap skills, I was reflecting on all of their careers, and Eminem has so many blemishes ever since the Marshal Mathers LP (when he got really good at rapping) it hurts him severely and everything he has before he got corny (imo) is so technically inferior to Pun I stated Pun wins. Simply put I would rather listen to any Pun album over any Eminem album.
ATENakaATON 1 month ago
@ATENakaATON yeah but first of all: WE TALKING the rap skills meaning how dope a rapper is itself. albums, etc. is all good but it has nothing to do with the rapping skills itself
young128 1 month ago
@young128 when you started conversing with me I was not talking about just rap skills alone, i meant music, you assumed I was just talking about technical ability, and when you used the word music after the word rapping I simply assumed you were talking about more than rapping skills as well, as music envelops a lot of things
ATENakaATON 1 month ago
@ATENakaATON ok whatever... anyway pun shits on eminem. he had far beter flow and lyrics. cmon man. listen to Beware, fire water, etc. and tell me if eminem has ever flowed like that ...
young128 1 month ago
@young128 Listen to Relapse or Recovery (if you can lol), when has Pun ever flowed like that? The flow was incredible, the sync with the beat was out of this world. However Eminems lyrics are not so strong, when Eminem has great flow it seems his lyrics are not as strong, over time his flow has improved but his lyrics have gone south. It's one or the other with Em, Pun always has it all, he always beats him on lyrics, but flow finally came around for Em. Only if Pun hadn't died.
ATENakaATON 1 month ago
@ATENakaATON lol. listen to brave in the heart. SHITS ON EMINEM!
young128 1 month ago
@young128 I feel the same but not in flow. I would go and find a song off of Relapse but I can't listen to that shit again, lol, technically good but it's still bad music. But with both sides of rapping combined it sure does.
ATENakaATON 1 month ago
@young128 brave in the heart is good but the best verse is by triple seis...eminems made made alot more songs that is appreciated by real hip hop fans and general public...the only other rappers that real fans and general fans like is pac and big, but even those two were never as big as em overrall

It's hard cause Pun died too early.
Eminem is underrated by classic Hip-Hop fans and seriously overrated by his stans
Eminem was in the game longer than Pun tho
Both legends, Lyricism = I'd say tie. Flow = Pun. Storytelling = Em
BOTH GREAT
The12Jacob 2 months ago 4
@The12Jacob aint storytelling just diff kinds of lyrics?
young128 2 months ago
@The12Jacob lyricism tie? bro there is plenty of stuff Pun has put out that is way more creative and powerful fast delivery flow then Em has
StreamerVideo 1 month ago
@StreamerVideo Because the way Eminem rhymes syllables is genius, he has the ability to bend words and make them rhyme.
The12Jacob 1 month ago
@The12Jacob dude, I know what you're talking about when he puts stresses/emphasis on syllables that rhyme or when he slightly alters words.. that's not genius that's a cheap skill and way to rhyme and should only be used occasionally and Em hardly ever even uses that skill, lil wayne usually does it.. and Pun is way more of a multi syllable and lyricist then Em I'm soz dude I like Em but even I can admit that Pun is arguably the GOAT
StreamerVideo 1 month ago
@The12Jacob btw here's an example of how easy it is to bend words and be cheap lil wayne does it all the time like in the song "she will he tries" to rhyme beautiful with hoola-hoop.. he's such a sucky rapper that he has to bend the syllables just to make half way decent rhymes
StreamerVideo 1 month ago
@StreamerVideo "You god damn right bitch, AND now it's too late
I'm triple platinum and tragedies HAPPEN in two states" that's what i mean by bending words, it's also slant rhyming and clear enunciation, I don't think Em is the best though but there is no denying his lyrical skills, and yes Lil Wayne does suck, lol.

pun is the greatest lyricist ever....not eminem, nas, ra the rugged man, kool g rap but big pun
trudon 2 months ago
You guys always are comparing two totally different styles of rap. Eminem is lyrical and everything, but he has more of a goofy style. Big Pun is more in line with Biggie, or Tech N9ne in terms of lyricism and wordplay.

@The12Jacob It dont matter how long they been in the game bro, It matters overall skill as a rapper, and pun is the better rapper! Ems good, but pun its better

Slum666Elementz 2 months ago
@AnthonyOrellana627 And I do find his older shit better, especially MMLP, had that shit when it came out, but ur right, Em can still be nice, like "Cold Wind Blows" and "Almost Famous" were deadly tracks, I just think Pun nicer
Slum666Elementz 2 months ago
@Slum666Elementz I totally understand but i hate the fact that a bunch of people underestimate recovery
AnthonyOrellana627 2 months ago

In my opinion Pun is better, more songs from infinite should of been used for Em.
corness8 2 months ago
Pun has flow over eminem, but rhymes?
It is hard to tell. Listen to Infinite, then compare Dream Shatterer. They have some of the illest rhymes of all time.
And eminem went more horrocore, and Pun died too early. Would have been dope to hear a real collab between them.

Em is great, def my top 10, but Pun is better. Pun's multies is prolly the greatest
Ultraliskification 3 months ago
Em, no doubt! He has files - books upon books, just teaming with word-play scribble that is arsenal for new up-and-coming joints, so freestyle to Em is just a walk in the park, it's like a work-out, he kind of tests his skillz to beats like this, keeps what works, shelves the rest for later! This cat is prolific. Rakim even said it: to battle Eminem would be unwise; he's practiced and honed his art to a fine polish. Can't hate this, not if you're truly honest and truly a Hip-Hop head
MrJazzHOP 3 months ago
eminem haters are the only ones who comment on these eminem vs. videos. watever keep sayin this shit about eminem and keep shitting on him but everybody else knows the truth. em is the greatest oof all time and would destroy rappers careers (canibus, ja rule, everlast, benzino) who says any different, hes ferocious in the booth.
