I am 4' 11" and thin. I do have a difficult time shopping, but it works out in the end because I do get my clothing tailored. It's the only way a petite person can stay out of the childrens' department.

all of my friends have long legs but me, and it sucks. (27/28" inseam person here) I don't know any store besides forever21 that has small sizes for people that are around 5'1". >:(

Yeah, stores a lot of times who makes "short pants" don't really make them that short. I bought some short pants at American Eagle and they were still too long. I was stepping on them. And I'm 5'2! What about the people who are 5 feet?
I just signed the petition, thanks for organizing. Chances are, it will just take some creative women investing in a business. There is money to be made. I am so tired of the old lady clothes they make for short women, even old ladies want to look attractive. It is about time we made a change.
well im 150cm 43 kg last time i checked anyway i have tiny girl shoulders pisses me off most times i have 2 fix up bra straps or singlet tops coz of it different sizes can all be attractive and have there own issues with sizeing thats whats great tho everyones different!!!!!!!!

That is why MOST models continue to be tall while it should be a thing of the past due to designers needing skinny, tall coat hanger type models who didn't distract from the designs, it carried on it's legacy because gay men love women that look unisex, like Tv's or that could be men. The taller a woman is the bigger her feet and hands. Tall is masculine hence why women love tall men.
Supermodels, top models, models period, the title shouldn't be exclusive or defined by whether or not someone is 5'2, 5'5, 5'8' or 6'0". Gay men run the modeling industry and what they find attractive is what is hired. The designers don't have a clue they choose from the batches offered to them and NONE of those ZED or Composite cards of models are petite. The agents hold the cards and all of the agents are GAY as hell/

I'm not going to be part of a trench war against women of other sizes but as a petite woman who used to be plus sized petite and is now a slim petite it's always been difficult to find anything that fits, flatters my slim curves and isn't dated in style. Yes, shock! Petite slim women can have curves too! That's why we can't just shop the same styles as teens and tweenies!
i agree! if ur petite (small boned, short, and don't weigh much) but ur not really skinny and u do have some curves, it's kinda hard. i mean when ur short and xtremely skinny u get like a 0 or something. but if ur not, then it's like do you wear jr. sizes or petite or women or what?
