I just love the ironic fact that Dr. Horrible (the villain) is dressed in all white while Captain Hammer (the 'hero') is dressed in all black. It's like Billy's subconsciously trying to tell himself that he shouldn't be a villain but the opposite

@yoyogirl223 Not necessarily. He was hesitating. When it came down to it, the Billy part of him couldn't pull the trigger. Chances are he would have still been standing there trying to decide what to do when the freeze ray died a few moments later. That's the whole point--he's trapped between the two hims and it's Captain Hammer that forces him into his Dr. Horrible persona permanently.
