  • When Sting (aka, Gordon Sumner) was a teen, he was greatly influenced by The Beatles. What modern rock singer wasn't? What a great, interesting road this 'Gordon Sumner/Sting' has traveled. A great voice and a great song writer. Let's also not forget Miles Copeland who persistently promoted and protected the rights of 'The Police'. That is one talented, bull-dogging, dude. And a salute to Ian Copeland who was just great and wrote a wonderful bio. A must-read.
