Glad to watch this finally. But this 2nd game is like Lin Dan just threw it away on purpose. Even in 1st game, Lin Dan was just playing with Lee. If I know anything about gambling, I might suspect this match was fixed. Else I'd think this is like a friendly match to drag to 3 games for audience's pleasure :)

@georgebest7968 Theres not best racket....but Li Ning seems to have the most durable rackets on a pro level now, although you might prefer one of the other top companys (Yonex, Victor,.......) or something else entirely. Really comes down to preference.

When the lady announcer says "put some spin on the shuttle" what kind of spin does she mean??? Anyone have another name for it that maybe I could relate my knowledge to?

when you play a netshot, you cut it from underneath and it makes the shuttle spin and tumble, which makes the receiver unable to hit it until it comes out of its cycle. its a basic shot and one of the most important shots in the game because if you have a great net, then you control the offense.

no thats not what she meant otherwise she would have said it when they were playing net shots. but she said commented on the spin of the shuttle when they were mostly clearing and lifting. basically if you make a bird spin when you hit it, it slows down when it starts to drop which makes makes your opponent think it is going out though the bird is actually staying in.

actually, she said it in reference to a shot like a clear, they put a 'spin' to keep it in on the last little bit of decent so as to control the drift

but i don't think her knowledge of the game is very reliable so don't think too much of it
