Im an eagles fan, and it took to long for Art Monk to get in. sad thing is, i mentioned this to my friends, and they didnt know who the hell art monk was. =/
old reliable, i remember the monday night when he broke largent's record. it was awesome to see that a receiver from my favorite team was the best, so f owens, johnson, cokehead irvin, and all the other primmadonnas
what a really nice down to earth guy! i hated what washington did to him when they traded him. no loyalty. i hope that they at least retired his number. best description of him written by a fan in the stadium: "in the art gallery, the monk is a masterpiece!"
Art Monk was the man. He did something that no one did in the 80s. He caught over 100 passes in 1984 and the Redskins played in 4 Super Bowls while Monk played for them. Love the Redskins and always will. Love Art Monk and Darrell Green!
It's about bloody time the great Art Monk makes it to the Hall. The Washington Redskins are the greatest football team on the planet. Even though their record doesn't reflect that right now. I eat, sleep, and drink Washington Redskins football. "Hail to the great Art Monk, and the Redskins".
yeah i was there the ovation at the beginning was one of the most impressive things i have ever seen. Especially the "it's about time" chant for the last minute and a half

that's awesome...i wonder why it took him so long to get in.
My mom and dad have a picture of him holding me while they were standing beside him in '81 when I was a baby. They said he was an awesome guy.

These aren't the highlights of that speech. Find the full version somewhere else.

I have the full version. It is too long to put on youtube, and it doesn't include the standing ovation at the beginning.Or else that would be on here
