I was 8 when I first watched this season. And I hated it. Even then I was able to tell that this season is filled with way too much annoying friendship, love and inner strength messages.

The first and second seasons were great and had the correct amount of goo-i-ness and the third season was epic darkness which I enjoyed. The 4th, 5th, 6th and etc are simply terrible.

For me personally it was from best to worst(THey were all great)

Season 2(It was when I first REALLY got into digimon)

Season 4(LOVED the concept and it was a breath of fresh air. It felt like a real adventure. This is a VERY close second.)

Season 3(It was alright when it first came out with the whole card thing but reflecting back, I never liked it.)

Season 1(I for some odd reason HATED the first season kids and thought their digivices looked like complete shit.)

This season was a major let down when I was younger. I liked that the Digimon, and the humans weren't the same person. It let them communicate with each other, which brought on many memorable moments, both hysterical and sad. But, the humans turning into Digimon? Vhut ees dees bull shet?

The concept of humans digivolving to digimon is cool but when put into an anime like this you can see how it's difficult to make it decent.

Season 1 was the only true Digimon season and it was phenomenal. Season 2 was alright, Season 3 was neat, this season and following seasons were terrible.
