Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. at mp3player_fla::MainTimeline/playMusic()

    can someone help

  • hey im having the same SecurityError: Error #2000: No active security context. problem, and i tried every thing people have said to do, maybe im not doing it right, but is it possible that someone could maybe make a video on how to fix this problem, thanks :)

  • I keep getting the following error: SecurityError: Error #2000: No active security context. All my files are in the same folder. I'm using Flash 5.5 Pro... please help :)

  • GREAT TUTORIAL... Love the way you explain every command... I understand what I'm doing and not just copying what I see... thanks!

  • If you want that the music starts immediately, what is the code then?

  • when you clicked the play button 2x the song plays again & again...

  • I tried to make a file reference but I get this message:1067: Implicit coercion of a value of type flash.net:FileReference to an unrelated type Class.

  • What do you do if you want to select the music file and then play it?

  • Is the fla files for the mp3 player available for download???

    tameanimations@yahoo.com

  • sorry. got working.

  • Hello. Could someone help me. Everything works fine but when I press play...I get this error

"TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert flash.events::MouseEvent@305f4f51 to fl.motion.MotionEvent."

I have no idea what this means. Anyone?

  • Do Macs have a magnifying tool like all recent versions of Windows have? It isn't much of a problem in this video, but I have trouble seeing the text as you have it in your videos.

  • For everyone getting this error:

Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error

What you have to do is go to the "library" tab in Flash and drag music file into that.

Once your song is in the Flash library with the other files. ( Note: even though your file may be in the same folder as your .fla file you'll still have to drag your song manually into the flash library)

Now make sure your file name in your actionscript is EXACTLY the same as your filename so songname.mp3

  • For those who also got errors: place the mp3 file in THE SAME folder as the flash project file! It solved my problems at least =D

  • I got this "Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=error #2032: Stream Error. at mp3player_fla::MainTimeline/playMusic()"

    What did I do? :/

  • Question. Is it possible to play two mp3s at the same time? If you need a use, I'm specifically referring to a DJ program using CS4 or CS5. This tutorial is very helpful, but I am more speicifically interested to see if two song files are able to be accessed at the same time. Not by the same buttons, mind you, but just the possibility to play two files at the same time (so mixing is possible or not in Flash).

  • @Yodamanjaro I'm trying to do a similar thing in flash, did you get any closer to figuring out if it is possible because anytime i try to play two songs are the same tempo at the same time that mix in fine with reason it just sounds all mumbelled up, if you could get it working could you link me to a place that helped? thanks :)

  • @g3jimha I did manage to do that, you just have to have two sound channels and play them with different buttons. Pretty simple stuff. Basically making two of this tutorial into one flash project.

  • @Yodamanjaro ah righto, thanks very much

  • hey your tutorial is really nice can u post the script

in comment i can't get this pleaseeeee

  • Alright i did exactly as followed and once i tried it the player was shaking as if the HZ was off balance can some one tell me what i missed ?

  • @MrJamfoof i got the same problem...

  • I get an error 1046 - Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant..

Then the play button just flashes all over -- I'm using CS3 -- Any help?

  • Hi,could you help with the code if you wanted to have a playlist of a number of songs to play. So we would obviously have a next and back button aswell.

  • Hey Mark, i followed your tutorial exactly and when i test movie and press play i get this message:

Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. at mp3_player_fla::MainTimeline/playMusic()

what am i doing wrong?? cheers!

  • @nikj123 did u ever get a reply to this coz im getting the same!!

  • @nikj123 I get the same error. I'm not sure if it's because I'm on a pc, or because I tried the code on my own button. But my filesa re all saved in the same folder. Ever time I press my button that error pops up agai and again.

Please let me know what it is that I am doing wrong.
