  • Mopar is owned by a Fiat that is Italian, not the United States of America. So perhaps Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep should never be on these videos that talk about why buy American.

  • I meant the 2011 i dont know why i said new

  • And the new 2011 f-250's

  • @TheAmericanAutos....lets also not forget who makes heavy duty pick up trucks that can tow over 20,000 lbs.. AMERICA!

  • Ford FTW!!

  • american muscle, not only do they look better but there is nothing else like it

  • @simrash20001 hurr durr, Because looks are everything.....

Enjoy going in a straight line...

  • @forthelulz87 you are aware of how the new Camaro, Challenger and Mustang perform on the track right?

  • i like your other videos. im not hating. i got a chevy myself. but 1 thing. cts v is no where near the fastest production sedan. bmw m5, v10s, and the new v8s are faster... DUHH. porshe panamera turbo (fastest sedan). Mercedes S65, bmw 760li. shiit. my friends cobalt SS/TC sedan beat a cts v. his was not stock tho. i dont understand why they are so overrated. but otherwise. great videos. i like the one about 30,000 dollar one. :D

  • @skinnbone260 Thanks! What Chevy do you have?

About the CTS-V, it has the fastest 'Ring lap time of any production sedan with no mods (except for the Panamera Turbo S but that actually isn't official yet; it's a claim by Porsche) and about the same (faster than a few and only slower than the Panamera Turbo S) acceleration times. I know you can make a Cobalt SS TC faster than a CTSV in a straight line (I have a TC SS myself) but the understeer would prevent it from beating the CTS on a track.

  • @TheAmericanAutos oh nice. ive had 5 cars in the last 2 years. :D bmws, mercedes, 550whp mustangs. but right now im chilling with a coupe ss tc. i got a friend who has the newer cts v, with intake exhaust and tune, and another friend with ss tc sedan. and the cts v im a lil behind him. another friend of mine used to have a bmw m5, v10. and the funny thing is, in gear 6 you can top it out, but when you go to gear 7 its limited to 155mph... isnt that wierd? lmaoo

  • @skinnbone260 haha I guess they never thought someone would try to go over 155 mph in 6th when they have 7th.. or may be they did it on purpose? lol

  • @TheAmericanAutos im not sure, but he his 180 in 6th racing a 911 on 495

  • @skinnbone260 I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you meant.. who came in 6th racing a 911?

  • @TheAmericanAutos my friend with the m5 said one day he was racing a 911, and hit 180 in 6th gear, i think it tops out at 190+

  • @TheAmericanAutos tops 6th gear 190+ but 7th gear is 155mph. :D or 186mph as an option

  • @skinnbone260 ooh haha that's very odd.. it seems like such a random number (186) to put the new limit at.

  • @TheAmericanAutos well you got to understand they are german and use KM/H not mph. so 155mph is 250kmh, and 186mph is 300kmh....

155, and 186 is actually what most cars are limited to.

  • @skinnbone260 Oh, yea, that's true. Thanks for pointing it out!

  • @CrashJSTest And The Volt has the highest APC among any non-American hybrid/electric car sold in the US. The Cruze (still higher APC than the Corolla) may have a higher APC eventually. In order to launch sooner than later, they probably had to use some globally shared parts from outside the US, but I expect it to increase in the future.

  • @CrashJSTest I blame them for not having 100% APC but they are more American and support more Americans than any other brand, only a fool would deny it.

  • @CrashJSTest 82% of Silverados and 90% of RAMs sold in the US are assembled in the US. The big 3 employ approximately 155k Americans vs 100k for foreign (Euro, Korean and Jap). Over 75% of the cars with 75% American content or higher are made by the big 3. The big 3 are the only ones that offer cars with over 80% American parts content. They have more plants in the US than all the other automakers combined. Most of their profits are spent in the US.

  • heck yeah!!!
