@JonasFrimodt, sometimes these cultures say "no" to disagree with a negative statement (Jim said "won't"). My wife is from Taiwan and there is often this "Yes, we have no bananas" kind of thing. I have to ask her to say, "right" or "correct" instead of "yes/no". But you're right it does sound very funny!
