Im really tempted to try this, I been playing Warrior in pvp on world of warcraft and i want to try what it is like on the other end of spectrum as a healer. Just a question though, are healers good at 1v1 pvp? Or do you need other people to heal to do well in pvp
@jenjess12 yes, theres is cast speed spellbooks, gloves, skills to reduce cast spd, and even scrolls, so u guess it ;) a lot of ppl cry about sorcs doing instant casts :p
hows the lag shaping up in game? whats the min/max ping and do you think it will get much worse when servers are release :)? oooh and whats the delay like with using abilities etc (pretty much ping , oh well)
I've only experienced lag (delay) during the 3rd event and it was on Saturday sometime in the afternoon for a few hours when the server capacity was "high". The server then went offline for a bit then came back online and was fine ever since. This is beta so this sort of thing is expected. Ping times are different for everyone and depend on many factors.
in options you have the ability to turn off displaying character names and/or legion names for both your own character and others. the user interface is very customizable.
i solo'ed it all so it took me about 4-5 days in total during events #3+4 from 1-25. average monster gave me 6-9k exp. going from lvl 25-26 requires 2.6 million exp iirc, so it does start to drag on and feel slow as you progress. playing in a group doing group quests in difficult areas is probably going to be the best method of lvling imo, unless of course someone discovers a way to power lvl.
ok cool, I got to about level 7 or so on the first beta. I'm going to try to level up though so I can try the Abyss. Of course, that's going to make or break the game for anyone so it makes sense to try it out now.
very nice i only got to lvl 16 with my sirc and lvl 12 with my sin i like sins better alot more dps more def 2 very good video but what i dont like to much about the game is that the mobs just 1 lvl above u can do pretty good dmg

i think its like any other healer in any other mmorpg. holy priest 1v1 are they great? etc.

Yes, Cast speed increases, well... cast speed. And at high level, Attack Speed and Cast speed are top priority.

I like it that the mobs are harder to kill in this game unlike other games, it gives a challenge to lvl'ing
