Stinky is one mellow kitty. Nothing like the hair brained idiot that wrote to you with his advice..BTW.. I had three golden retrievers and we lived in the Seirra footkills. Ticks love it their. I have had my dogs come home at the end of the day, after running thru the woods, with 50 or 60 ticks, so I have had my fair share of tick removal, none of which required a vet. Telll fuck face to step off
Ticks gravitate to the ears. It's the first place to check. If you had a brain, you would pay for some frontline from your vet. that way this would not happen at all. Get a clue!!
@Toerme I can't name that episode, unfortunately. All I know is that the animal control got a call about a dog covered with ticks and then they found out it had puppies. I might be able to see it on Hulu, then I would be able to get the episode name.

i would recommend using pointed tip tweesers because blunt tip ones could rip the tick and leave the head in the area

Poor Stinky. I watched animal cops in Phoenix, they picked up a dog that had ticks in each each ear and between it's toes. It was horrible.
