I rather recoment to not bleach them at all,at leat you want red/orange/brown colored leggins ,but to just paint them,if you you fabric paint it should also stay on your pants and wont be to crumbely.
@TheSparklingHoney Hi - you put something like a tea towel over the top and iron on that - it doesn't melt the paint but it stills irons the item properly :D
@kristiandhermakeup Hi! :) I know I'm so sorry! I've been so busy with schoolwork and work but I'm saving up for an HD camera, but it's on the list - so sorry for the delay!
You do know that Bleach will absolutely DESTROY any Lycra/Spandex blended fabrics... RIght? You can basically say goodbye integrity and stretchiness. DO NOT Bleach your leggings! If anything, get White leggings from American Apparel (Tricot Lycra Leggings) and dye them yourself.
@nafxednaps Hi - the leggings aren't made out of lycra or spandex, and they're still absolutely fine, thanks for the tip though, but these ones are fine :)
@nafxednaps I thought the water/bleach mixture would dilute it so that it wouldn't eat through the fabric? I also thought VanillaSecrets said leaving the leggings in the sink of water would prevent eating through the fabric, as well.
@VanillaSecrets For the first time? Or do you have to keep ironing it each time? Can you also just use a hairdryer on its hottest setting? Because mine can reach rather hot temperatures.
@VanillaSecrets can i use clorox bleach?
