@ColinOutdoors ive used maglites on zombie but a hammer is more affective especially if u have a guy with a knife god forbid that happens tho, a hammer is more likely to cause pain to bones and therfore keep them off you.

Using a sturdy D-cell flashlight as a baton is a great idea. My grandfathers served in the first world war. Many of those veterans found their trench shovels to be very effective when the krouts ....um...zombies came over the top. A whack to the throat worked every time!

I put some 1/16th black shock cord though the retention straps of the kabar heavy bowie sheath. not perfect, but it keeps them out of the way when sheathing and unsheathing that beast.
