Dont fall in to the trap of the IPL. Think about it, India cements paid 70 million US$ for this franchise. Think about how dirty our city streets are? Cant these corporates spend that money in developing our city? How are they going to contribute to our community in Chennai? If they cannot, let them pack up anc relocate to a different city in india.

its the duty of people to keep the city clean too.. so first u stop littering the city streets to start with.. dont bring these issues here its none of india cements business to keep the city streets clean. Go and ask the candidate you voted.

I dont want to get in to an argument with you. Let me explain why India cements have a duty to do this. They represent a huge section of the communities residing with in and outside the Chennai city limits. Many of them work for the company and represent the company to help it make a profit. These "so called" people in your argument do deserve a better city. So ethically speaking, the least a big corporation can do is set aside funds for improving the city's environment, private scholarships.

Besides, India cements is making money out of the people of chennai and want them to come watch their team. It is our money in the form of tickets. I understand profits, player fees, jobs etc. Ethically and morally, it is unacceptable for us to see none of that come back to the city for its development.
