Exactly what heritage is he keeping? Today marks the summer solstice, midsummer, and he and his "groupies" (among others) celebrated by watching the sunrise at Stonehenge. No problem, right? So I thought until I saw that they were actually IN Stonehenge, among the rocks. The photographs of the event show copious amounts of litter and, what I consider, little respect towards the monument. To top it off, Neo-Druidism has no historic or spiritual connection to Stonehenge as far as I know. Thoughts?

I have actually met Arthur over the summer. I went to Stonehenge with my family and understand where he is coming from. He won the right for reliogous practices at the solstices for which i applaud, and right now he is protesting the removal of human remains from Stonehenge with no set return date(English Heritage).
In all honesty, I thought at first sight that this was some kind of prank or hoax. After watching this and listening to him speak, he just resounds with a warmth that is hard to ignore. This guy, has to be the strongest believer in the old path that I have ever seen or witnessed, recorded or not.
I honestly doubt he'd be a real reincarnation of King Arthur, since it's even doubtful the original ever existed (did some research for a class at university half a year back). But I also doubt he's crazy. He's most probably a well-meaning imposter.
I can vouch that Arthur is an extremely good, intelligent and wonderful man, and certainly not crazy.
He once visited my parents home in 1994, and you can imagine how amusing it was for me to announce to them that I had brought King Arthur. They were immediately enchanted by him. I have utmost respect for him and the causes he fights for.

After watching this video and listening to him speaking I totally agree with crystalxdragon. my daughter and now son-in-law were at this years summer solstice and he joined them together in the hand joining ceremony praise be. It just saddens me to see the utter disgrace and disrespect to Stonehenge as done by drunks and idiots who go there just to ruin what is a very special time, when is something going to be done to protect this very old and sacred religion like all others.

Exactly what heritage is he keeping? Today marks the summer solstice, midsummer, and he and his "groupies" (among others) celebrated by watching the sunrise at Stonehenge. No problem, right? So I thought until I saw that they were actually IN Stonehenge, among the rocks. The photographs of the event show copious amounts of litter and, what I consider, little respect towards the monument. To top it off, Neo-Druidism has no historic or spiritual connection to Stonehenge as far as I know. Thoughts?

@coor0kun Modern druids, myself included, consider Stonehenge a sacred place. There is no evidence that Ancient druids did, although they might have done, but we are no more claiming to be ancient druids than the Archbishop of Canterbury is claiming to be living as a hermit in the desert.

I have actually met Arthur over the summer. I went to Stonehenge with my family and understand where he is coming from. He won the right for reliogous practices at the solstices for which i applaud, and right now he is protesting the removal of human remains from Stonehenge with no set return date(English Heritage).

I can vouch that Arthur is an extremely good, intelligent and wonderful man, and certainly not crazy.
He once visited my parents home in 1994, and you can imagine how amusing it was for me to announce to them that I had brought King Arthur. They were immediately enchanted by him. I have utmost respect for him and the causes he fights for.

Some people are so horrified with reality that they dont want to face it but at least they can see it unlike most people.Stonehenge was never really about the stones or the site or misfits trying to be important, it was about the mind and vision.Sadly most people are not capable anymore but know theres something there in the past that intrigues them so they dress up and pretend to be spirtual or kings or witches.
