Just picture if the iraq people acted like the defeated Germans after WW2. They got sick of war and rebuilt their country and economy. @vorevox After the war Germany was broken into four parts each control by America, France, Britain and Russia. Germany was not a strong enough country to rebuild itself at the end of the war. They needed our help and so did the rest of Europe. The difference is the insurgent fighters for Germany "Werewolf" were ordered to stop all hostilities and they followed those orders. It shouldn't have happened but you also have to look at it at the point of view of the pilots. What this video didn't show was the US convoy that was headed through that area. They were ensuring the safety of the convoy and the US soldiers in it so they weren't gambling their fellow comrade's lives on the chance that the van may or may not of contained a weapon

My son in-law came back from 2 tours in Afghanistan and 1 tour in Iraq. He never guarded or attacked or saw oil wells. A friend of the family came back with one leg after 1 1/2 tours in Iraq and never saw an oil well. Out of the 17 people I know personally that served in Iraq none were fighting for oil. Just picture if the iraq people acted like the defeated Germans after WW2. They got sick of war and rebuilt their country and economy. I should also include the invasion of 'jihad' fighters into iraq from other places also should act like the Germans did. If all did then iraq would be a very nice place by now.

@vorevox After the war Germany was broken into four parts each control by America, France, Britain and Russia. Germany was not a strong enough country to rebuild itself at the end of the war. They needed our help and so did the rest of Europe. The difference is the insurgent fighters for Germany "Werewolf" were ordered to stop all hostilities and they followed those orders. This is a completely different scenario in Iraq.

They know when to hide, and when to close their eyes. @sf49ersrule If you watch the original.. They are walking with people carrying rifles and RPG tubes.. They are responding to a call from ground forces requesting assistance because they are taking fire. Im pretty sure the guys on the ground weren't getting shot at by video cameras. If they didnt want to get shot - they shouldnt have been running around in the streets near people with weapons. As said already, this version is edited... and the audio is out of sync to give a bad impression.

Chances are they would have surveil-lanced them for some time and identified the weapons/video cameras and not fire, not fire a single shot. Where was the threat to the men recording? Wikipedia is not an official site, if you studied in any major college you would know that...you CANNOT reference Wikipedia for the fact that anyone can make a Wikipedia page dummy. There is no basis to your argument, you loose.
