  • what is the difference between the 1959hw and the 1959slp? (obviously the hw is handwired) any tonal differences?

  • @qaws12321able

According to Marshall there is no tonal difference at all.. according to tube freaks, there is a huge difference.

Personally i think the advantage of the HW is how much easier it is to repair/mod.

  • @notuern Does anybody know what is the difference between a 1959HW and a 1959 MKII? Thanks

  • @TubeYourTV

As far as i know, the 1959HW is an MKII.

  • @TubeYourTV 1959 Mk2 have components mounted on pcb manner on the board. The copied design is older (from 1974 if I remember right). The 1959 handwired is... handwired, the components are handwired on turret board, it seems that the transformers are different too. The copied layout for the hw seems to be youger, probably around the end of 60's but I don't know exacly from when.

Have a nice guitare time bro.

  • Very very crisp, awesome sound of rock...

I guess the amp volume was maxed, and a powerbrake or such is used.

  • Can you please explain the set up and equipment.

    Thanks

  • What other details can you share about this clip Please?

    What speakers?

    Attenuator?

    No FX?
