@mccordia looks like it has been made with twixtor. it's quite hard to 'guess' frames, especially when you've got footage with highly detailed features moving rapidly between frames. You most likely going to get motion estimation/interpolation errors (artifacts) when things move quickly, but overall this effect looks great! btw awesome footage too...

@cometsker I know. I used the same. By running the simulation/render backwards you can sometimes get better results allong the edges. Using a fwd/backward render on top of eachother with masking can elliminate problem areas in video.

I used the same software/technique in this one vimeo / 10091309, with cleaner results on the edges (with above technique)

@an0nytube Its mostly the method used for postproduction that could have given some better results. But for sure, anything shot at higher frame rates will always be superiour to any post-production process.

For around 200 you can get quite a few better quality cameras, only in terms of size most of those are less easy to mount on feet, hands etc.
