Never understood people's issue with sampling. There are some instances where I think it is done poorly or is in bad taste, but every artist is going to put their influences into their music one way or another. I mean, most of the famous rock musicians in the 60's through today simply re-make old songs or morph them into something different. The Rolling Stones even got their name from a Muddy Waters song. The ability to consciously create music is one of the most magnificent things about being a human. I enjoy both versions for what they are.
