I find this shocking. During a recent visit to the helston area.... A friend and his boyfriend were attacked for holding hands and walking down the high street. The police were super. Took the case very seriously; and the idiots involved were put away. Perhaps they learnt from there mistakes?

As I have said: There is a big difference between being openly gay and in the closet. If you know that people would get hurt you for being openly gay, then why would you do it? This truly upsets me. I hope he's doing well in life. Im shedding tears as i write this. Nobody deserves to be treated this way and to have gone through what he has gone through, proves how strong he is. And he inspires us all, even for a straight woman like me. Following further police intimidation at my mothers home, he left Cornwall the following week. Despite our having presented police documentation signed by PC Fuller, which proves DC Magnus Scott committed perjury in Court, Cornwall police still REFUSE to investigate. I myself send links to the videos to the police, & complaint after complaint has tried to be registered with police, only to be brushed under the carpet by the police. I find this shocking. During a recent visit to the helston area.... A friend and his boyfriend were attacked for holding hands and walking down the high street. The police were super. Took the case very seriously; and the idiots involved were put away. Perhaps they learnt from there mistakes?

1) Do other people's opinion really matter?
2) I found love on the inside, not the outside. We just happened to be the same gender
3) I can be gay---but I really dont have to be openly gay. Openly gays experience more pain.

As I have said: There is a big difference between being openly gay and in the closet. If you know that people would get hurt you for being openly gay, then why would you do it? You dont have to let the world know. If you can handle all of that, then go ahead. Maybe for some poelpe it's hard to suppress there sexuality, but is it really worth it. I know that if I was openly gay, my life would be so much worse. Tip: Act straight, think gay. Being in denile comes with safety.

His parents choose to leave him living on the streets when they decided to move 400 miles away. I don't see how I can be responsible for something his parents did two months before the lad was found living on the streets (not to mention the physical abuse witnessed by his frienmds he suffered in the family before that?). Not to mention theyu threw him onto the streets of Hull in 2007 when he tried to live with them again.

The (IPCC) Independent Police Complaints Commission (UK), that worthless & biased organisation in favour of police, has referred complaints of Devon & Cornwall Constabulary homophobic abuse, attitudes & practises to the Professional Standards Unit.
However, we do not expect ANY honesty, integrity, impartiality or transparency of conduct from Cornwall police for this investigation into FIVE years of police homophobic vendetta against gay persons!
That has been our experience!

I agree to an extent 'dillonhe', but there are laws, that is what makes us different to animals!

No, the mother (I use the term loosely as a description) & boyfriend/shag/husband (whatever) just up'd and left him living on the streets of Helston, Cornwall, when they moved 400 miles away.
She's dumped that one and moved onto husband boyfriend number 6 or 7.
Young Peter had a LOT of step-fathers! Some worse than others by accounts of his old school friends regarding the bruises Peter went to school with!

Please make a video of interviews, paper work and more proof about this. It sounds aweful... too aweful.... I don't believe that if you've been to a crown court and the judge has highlighted the irresponsible nature of the council and police that NOTHING would have been done about it?
Perhaps you should call or write to the BBC or other media - and the fact that this hasn't come up in the public media makes me question just how homophobic it is?

I should note Judge Rucker said that assistance given to Peter by members of the public was "GROSSLY IRRESPONSIBLE"!!!....such is the depth of homophobic values in the Cornwall Judicial system!
