The Prius is a fine vehicle, but it can't haul five people along with their cargo. Not many families can make due with compact car, even if they want to save fuel. The Vue is better choice for them.

who gives a shit what your prius gets? over 30mpg in a suv is pretty good if you ask me and at least it looks halfway decent unlike a prius..

I can't compete with 70+ MPG, but with our Prius, I get 48 - 56 MPG city driving.  My wife recently got 62 MPG driving back and forth to work.

Wow 36 MPG. My Prius gets 70+ MPG in driving condition like that. As a proof, do a search on Google video for "prius highway" under my screen name.

But, unlike your prius. The Vue does not look like a shoe and can pass people if needed.

Vue hybrid does 0-60 in 10.5 sec so it is comparable to Prius. For 30-50mph or 50-70mph acceleration, Prius will be faster.
