  • that looks good i have the 29 sf and they dont have the crimson trace for it yet so im gona have to go with the lasermax unimax micro for now how do you like the 10mm and what grain do you shoot

  • is that an airsoft gun

  • Nice review and nice glock, glock 29 is on the list to get .. 10mm round is great defence round.

  • I have the ct grip on my model 22 & im looking for the surefire kit for the tactical light. if anyone has it just post it for me & i'll get from you

  • thats pretty damn sick

  • I have that laser on my Glock 30. Amazing set up for the price and very easy to install. Its just another way to make an already incredible gun even better.

  • sweet

  • Nice. I have the exact same gun and laser sight. I also have the extended slide release, the stainless steel guide rod, and the lighter trigger pull kit. I love this pistol!!

  • is there a on off switch in case you dont want to use the laser?

  • no..there is no on or off switch on the crimson trace for the glock models

  • @voonman26 if you get the laserguard model there is, not sure if they have it on this model however.

  • Does the laser get in the way of racking the slide from the rear serrations? I had a Lasermax Saber on my G19 and I hated it because it was too high on the gun and did not allow for racking the slide from the rear as meant to do. Please let me know your opinion. Thanks.

  • No it doesnt get in the way..It works great..Ive had it for a few yrs now without any issues..

  • i have a glock 30 an im going with the laser max system because the crimson trace grips will mean you will have to get use to the feel of your gun all over again not to mention depending on the way you hold your gun your finger may cover up or get in the way of the laser

  • Laser Max is also a very good choice..But i went with CrimsonTrace because i did not want to have to think about turning on a laser sight if i ever got into a gun fight..The last thing on my mind would be to turn it on..Instead i would be pointing running and shooting..And when you hold the gun in any angle properly the laser does not get covered up by your hand..And the wrap around laser grip is not something hard to getting use to its kinda like installing hogue grips on a new gun..

  • How much does the G29 cost?

    Is the 10mm ammo rare/expensive?

  • cabelas has 10mm ammo for $28 per 50 compared to the same box of .45acp for $21. that's the American Eagle 50rd FMJ box.

as for the gun, Glockmeister has them for $530, same price as their Glock 21.

  • 500$ to 600$ and 10mm isnt rare but its not as easy to find like a 9mm,40sw,22lr

  • Im hoping to but this for my sig p220, can I put it on myself or do I have to have someone install it for me? I don't live anywhere near someone who can do it

  • You should be able to put it on yourself..it isnt very hard..If you have any problems..call crimson trace customer support

  • Come on!! Why didn't you take the shot?

  • lasermax definatley does not work better on glocks..crimson trace all the way..i have mine literally sighted in on the impact area of the bullet.. the tweeking ability on the crimson far exceeds the lasermax

  • i'm considering either the crimson trace or the lasermax internal guiderod laser for my glock 19. i can't decide which one. the crimson trace has a brighter bean and goes on when you hold the gun, but it apparently changes the feel of the handle and makes it more bulky, also i heard if you hold it too firmly it distorts the grip moving the laser.....the lasermax is neat and concealed, pulsating beam easier to spot. i've heard the lasermax has problems with the guiderod sometimes..what u think?

  • i mean when talking about adjustment, and sureness of the hsot i have nothing but good things to sat about crimson, does it make the grip a bit bulky??...possibly, but can the shooter easily compensate,..again, my 27 is what i carry everyday on my person, and even when i pop off 100 rounds , no blistering, no discomfort when shooting, and i am telling oyu ..where you put the laser, is where bullet goes,..they all claim that but i am just telling oyu my experience with crimson on my 27, and my 35

  • i'm just wondering if the laser bulge will get in the way. i'm left handed and have a left handed fobus paddle holster. i must say the crimson trace looks tempting at hte moment. the laser in the ct is much brighter and i dont like the fact of replacing the guiderod with the lasermax system. that's my only concern...it being ok for left handers.

  • the internal laser u dont have to sight in but its not as brite as the crimson trace i just ordered an internal for my competion xd i allready have a red dot scope u should check it out

  • I heard that the lasermax can get some of the "dust" on it after a few shots are fired because of its location on the gun. I can't say accurately, because I'm still waiting for my crimson trace... but theres my 2 cents

  • u had it installed? how could u not install it

  • this may seem dumb..but i dont know much about firearms and im turning 21 soon and i've been saving up i have about $400 i was just wondering how many rounds does one magazine hold for the glock 29? and does anyone know if the fn 5.7 is a durable hand gun?

  • five seven is a great gun also..but the rounds are over penetrating with less knock down energy..mexican gangsters and cartels use ithe five seven to kill police....the glock 29 comes standard with a 10 round mag and has more knock down power and a larger bullet than the five seven..you can use a glock 20 mag inside the 29 that holds 15 rounds,if you look at my other video that i made of all my firearms you can see the 15 round mag

  • pakchris, stay away from the Five seveN. I have work with it and was not impressed. First it will set you back atleast $1000. Then the ammo is way overpriced. If you want a good pistol look at Glock, Sig Sauer, Springfield, Smith&Wesson, and CZ. Sig Sauers will cost a bit more but are great. Glocks will outlast you, CZ's are good for the money, you may like the Springfield XD, also look at the S&W M&P.

  • fn makes a good gun but i would go with the glock 22 40 cal or the glock 17 9mm it will cost u more than 400 bucks bout 525 but glocks are awesome in so many ways!!!!

  • oh yeah definitely more than 400 bucks...any handgun is more than 400 bucks...if bought legally....naw but im turning 21 in august by then i should be good to buy at least a used....i was thinking about buying a 40. cal shit i was even thinking about buying a usp tactical (.45 and the .40) but it seems over rated for the price so right now i've picked 3 handguns and only one to choose from so its the glock 20, springfield XD (.40cal) and the fn 5.7

  • Are you a lefty? If so, how do you get your thumb up near the slide on the right side with the laser there? Do they make lefty versions?

  • No i am not a lefty..Crimson trace grips can work either way lefty or righty..

  • where did you get your pinky ext? Does it add to the capacity or is it just there for the pinky support?

  • that thing looks big!

  • should have popped a cap in the wall LOL.

  • Lasermax works far better for glocks, even more so for lefthanded shooters, but crimson trace makes a solid product, and it's less expensive than lasermax.

  • Laser Max is a great laser too i know a few friends in the military that use it..But i didnt choose it because you have to push a button at the side to activate it..I wanted a laser for a quick point and shoot aimed at the bad guy without any delays.. if ever i am in a lethal situation i wouldnt have time to think to activate my laser.

  • I agree i chose the grip laser for my ccw due to the fact that in a decision making moment i would want to take an extra second to turn on laser. On my range toys i have laser max and it does work great.

  • How well do these work for left handed users?

  • shit! u got laser!

  • Well, I like your pistol... I was just about to order this for my XD45, but after seeing this video--I honestly don't like it. Looks a little bulky for me. I would opt for the Lasermax, but I hear they have troubles with the XD45. I may end up just getting night sights.

Appreciate the vid, bud! Happy shooting.

  • I have a glock 29 and love it although accuracy at long rang is not good. I also have a laser in the gun, not sure of the brand but I find that it does not show up in lots of sunlight anyone know of a green or blue lazer for the glock 29 or anything that is bright as hell in daylight

  • Yes crimson Trace grips are pretty visable during daytime.,If you wanna go green try viridian green lasers..they will work on the new glock 29 that comes with a tactical rail.

  • Anyone who isn't fully competent with their equipped additions should not have said additions added. This includes knowing the name of additions.

  • I love the Crimson laser but I have small hands and worry about the grip being altered too much on my XD40 so I opted for Heinie Straight 8 tritium night sights but I have Crimson grips on my S&W 642.:)

  • tritium night sights will work great also..But i was wondering do they have a lifespan?I think i might add it to my glock if there isnt a lifespan on it.

  • Tritium has a half-life of just over twelve years. This means that half the gas in your sights will have decayed in twelve years, giving off effectively less light. For this reason, most night sight manufacturers warrant their sights to be visible in dark conditions for ten to fifteen years. :)

  • great video, i just picked up a trace for my G23 and my G27. i love this laser, it not big and in the way like most of the lasers made for glocks. be safe

  • check out the crimson trace grips for my Hand Cannon Ruger Alaskan .480..Tell me what you think

  • it looks great while you are holding it in your left hand. problem is, most people are right handed.

  • That's a 10mm, which is Magnum powered semi-auto cartridge; so the slightly bigger size compared to the G27, G26 and G33 is a tiny biy bigger, but the Magnum power more than makes up for the slightly bigger size!

10mm is superior to .357 Magnum power, at least when you're using DoubleTap 10mm ammunition. ;)

I'm getting the G29, myself. No laser though; if I do get a laser, it'll be Lasermax.

P.S. Keep your finger out of the trigger guard! Rest it above near bottom of the slide. ;)

  • Crimson trace is a very good addition . I have them on my Glock 30 45 cal. Im very impressed

  • I have a glock 19 and I'm thinking about getting one of these. I can't decide between crimson trace or laser max or any other kind. how bright is your dot? up to how many feet can it trace?

  • interesting! Thank you for sharing, I was curious about laser aiming accessories for the Glock 29

  • why do you have it

  • why do i have a laser?

  • no the gun like just for protection?

  • Yes i am a collector and i also use it for protection

  • where are you from?

  • Thats the exact same gun I want to get. Is it legal to have a laser sight in Fl?

  • It should be legal in florida...I dont see why not...Check with your local law enforcement before you buy

  • Of course it's legal. There aren't laws against having visible lasers on your Firearms.

  • I thought you were going to start shooting up the house

  • Nah not that crazy

  • some chubby fingers

  • is it hard to rack with the trace on?

  • Its not too bad..This is my main side arm i carry everyday.

  • "little bit thicker"

Are you kidding, that grip is HUGE!

Reminds me why i love single stack 1911's

  • Did you install the laser yourself?

Im thinking of putting one on my airsoft glock 26 haha and was just wondering if it is easy for diy installation?

  • that grip is prob worth more then your airsoft gun! It is very easy to install!

  • i dont own an airsoft gun

  • I commend you producer vooman.

  • I'm sorry... you had it installed? I hope you didn't pay someone to "install" it for you. BTW CT are factory zeroed for 50 feet. You can fine tune it for what ever distance you shoot at.

  • yeah i love my glock 35 .40s&w i tell you what the glock always fires i have had mine for 2 years and not one jam.....was the laser grip hard to dial in "for accuracy"?

  • No not really..It came with an adjusting tool to align the laser for accuracy.

  • Thanx...it is one of the most dependable and practicle firearms anyone can use as self defense

  • Yea it is. I had a couple FTFs today qualifying for work and got super pissed. Then I realized it was only happening on the 2yd doubletap shots and I was 'limp wristing'. My fault not the weapons'. Maybe I'll pick up one of these lasers instead of getting night sights.

  • Glock great gun :-D

  • NICE!
