how can this be global warming when its freezing ??? its the old winters returning, perhaps the weather is slowly going back to how it used to be here in the UK, we used to get bad winters all the time.
@dmitchell1980 Climate change (as it should more appropriately be called) has caused the melting of ice caps meaning more freshwater in the Atlantic. This is turn has caused the salinity levels in the water to drop slightly. This could mean a slowing of the gulf stream or it stopping completely, giving us a climate similar to that of Canada.
lol! I remember when I read an intervie a few days before the snow hit saying that we were going to get a really hot summer because of global warming and the next think you know BAM a foot of snow outside!
