1973 Chevy timing issue

@pato629 mine almost turns off when i press the gas too hard what can that be? is it the timing?

push rod could be bent or broke i have the same engine 73chevy 5.7 in a olds cutlass with a k-1104 cam with 64cc pro cump aluninum heads and roller rockers and when i tried to get down on it i snapped a rod and it sounded a lil like what u have going on if not ur timing chain needs to be changed

it sounds like a broken exhaust valve spring.

Find the skipping cylinder and change the valve spring.

It turned out to be the timing chain .Thanks for the advice though.

@A63Chevy this is exactly how my truck sounds but know it wont even start. i have the stock manifold with an edelbrock 1406 card with the adapter plate kit and it leaks fuel at the bottom of the adapter plate. can u please help???

It has a points and ya its missn bad, have any ideas on how to fix it.(New Ditriduter)
