Totally agree with you. I love KOTOR, Oblivion and Morrowind and whatnot, but WoW and other MMO's just seem like a huge waste of time to me. A lot of what I dont like about RPGs and little of what I do like. Min/Maxing and loot obsession is not good gameplay.

This is Star Wars: The Old Republic but the first MMO to have a real story line and be fully voiced just look it up. BioWare Already has the Site up and has for a while now.

make one where you play as rpg in the beginning (single player) and go around collecting resources, creating relationships with characters/factions, building an army and eventually a fleet, have the option of killing whoever you want, conquering towns, cities, planets, building an empire, etc... And separately you can fight someone online with your army vs theirs (as long as theyre similar size) and try to conquer each others planets and all that

Damn, I need to play the first two again. I forgot everything. Well, not everything, I remember it was a cool game, I remember a robot kept calling me organic meatbag without him wanting/knowing it, some old bit*h boss I had to fight and she had some weird swords flying around her and.... well I remember quite a lot, but not all of it and I'm mixing between the two parts. It was fun, but I don't know if I'd want to play it again. IMO RPGs are only fun the first time.
It is extremly likely that this MMORPG will ONLY be avaliable no the PC from initially release, since there are no signs to say at all that it wil lbe on console (BioWare would ahve said something by now) But who nows, it might be out on consoles eventually. I hope not on release by far though.
It will be. They said that they had enough material to do atleast 5 or more KOTOR stand alone games. They figured it would be better and more profitable to just put all the material into an online style game.
Sort of an anti-climax for the end of KOTOR 2. The Outcast follows Revan into the unknown regions to try and destroy the Sith Empire...
... and they failed, most likely dying in the attempt. Dispite, or possibly because of, their efferts the Sith launch a full scale invasion, rendering all the accomplishments of both moot.
Seriously, WHY? If you wanted to do a Republic-Sith war in the same time frame, why not just go back to the Exar Kun war one generation before?

The rumor is that it will be about Revan, The Exile, or Darth Bandon from KOTOR 1. Personally I hope it is the Exile because what better way to introduce the New Jedi Order than with the Exile at the lead

now that sounds ok but the whole aspect of it ruins the original gme of kotor the only thing i ever complained aboiut in the kotor is the fighting mechanism it was anooying at times at leat for ppl holdin blaster rifles

a star wars version of warcraft? Soo gay...
make one where you play as rpg in the beginning (single player) and go around collecting resources, creating relationships with characters/factions, building an army and eventually a fleet, have the option of killing whoever you want, conquering towns, cities, planets, building an empire, etc... And separately you can fight someone online with your army vs theirs (as long as theyre similar size) and try to conquer each others planets and all that

i wonder what those other "copyrighted titles" are, i think one of them is a board game or something, it would be cool if they were actual games.

Are you high?! I'm not saying the second was bad, it was good. But the first was better by far. It was amazing. I sold it and bought the second one because I thought "oh this should be better". they have to make a new knights game the other two were proberly the most popular and most profitable games that lucas arts ever desighned. it just defies logic. and if they do make a new game and stick to traditions and take the exact same approach as last time minus the glitches and bring it to xbox and p.c then i have no doubt that it will be as popluar and profitable as the last two games. please people spread the message and try to get lucas to widen the platform beyond the p.c

Damn, I need to play the first two again. I forgot everything. Well, not everything, I remember it was a cool game, I remember a robot kept calling me organic meatbag without him wanting/knowing it, some old bit*h boss I had to fight and she had some weird swords flying around her and.... well I remember quite a lot, but not all of it and I'm mixing between the two parts. It was fun, but I don't know if I'd want to play it again. IMO RPGs are only fun the first time.

It is extremly likely that this MMORPG will ONLY be avaliable no the PC from initially release, since there are no signs to say at all that it wil lbe on console (BioWare would ahve said something by now) But who nows, it might be out on consoles eventually. I hope not on release by far though.

It will be. They said that they had enough material to do atleast 5 or more KOTOR stand alone games. They figured it would be better and more profitable to just put all the material into an online style game.

Sort of an anti-climax for the end of KOTOR 2. The Outcast follows Revan into the unknown regions to try and destroy the Sith Empire...
... and they failed, most likely dying in the attempt. Dispite, or possibly because of, their efferts the Sith launch a full scale invasion, rendering all the accomplishments of both moot.
Seriously, WHY? If you wanted to do a Republic-Sith war in the same time frame, why not just go back to the Exar Kun war one generation before?

The rumor is that it will be about Revan, The Exile, or Darth Bandon from KOTOR 1. Personally I hope it is the Exile because what better way to introduce the New Jedi Order than with the Exile at the lead
