  • wow you dont really know alot about computers huh?

  • you probley fried the mother board do you see spark when turned it on and you don't even have the video cooling fan plug in since you don't have much computer building experince 1 try a diiferent video card 2 plug in the video card cooling cable 3 try the old memory with the a different video card

  • Dell's are created to take only the ram they specifiy or is installed, adding more or taking some away, or getting a different brand even will mess it up.

  • did you go into device manager to see if they are disabled.

  • broken power supply or other defects, such as capacitors that went broke were at a Pentium 4 PC normal.

  • i see this and wanna buy you a lifetimes supply of cable ties lol

  • somked motherbord

  • Get that harddrive straight. Vertical or horizontal. You`re doing it no favours. It will be affecting the PC`s access to read and write. Looks like a bomb detonated in your PC!

In fact, i almost want to go down there and fix that thing now, it hurts my eyes to look at it!

  • U need to plug the video card into one of the cables coming from the power supply

  • thts what happened to my cuzins its either something wrong with the ram itself or its ur comp

  • 2 words:

    Cable management.

I can't see anything, how i'm supposed to help?

  • @jorno1994 dont help

  • hey can i use my ps2 as a video card?

  • I'll help u....GET AMAC

  • @suckcari idiot

  • dude how in world does ur hard drive stand like that? HDD shouldnt be installed @ an angle.. either vertical or horizontal.

  • @kidowner yeah i no its just sitting in the box wtf

  • IF YOU GET NO VIDEO TRY THESE TIPS:

    1. Check to see if the Video card needs Power.

    !-Not all cards need power.

    2. Make sure memory is in all the way in.

!-Sometimes you have to press very hard.

    3. If you have more than one memory, test them both out using 1 at a time on different slots. If you upgraded Make sure its compatible

    4. Check to see if you have any blown capacitors, if you see a slight bulge on top of any of them replace Motherboard.

!-Try to get one with Solid State Capacitors.

  • i really would love to fix it for ya..

  • that lead from the graphics card is supposed to be connected to your power supply.that why you had no monitor activity.

  • You have to take off OS Install Mode (Operateing Install Mode) to boot up. To do this: Boot up: At first bootup loading page, Tap F2 for System Setup. Scroll down (with arrow keys) and find OS Install Mode. Push right arrow key to take off OS Install Mode. Press Esc and save with changes. Then, the computer will boot up as normal.

  • To install more memory

  • It doesn't look like your video card is connected to the power supply!

  • Download any Motherboard Manual with help, if it's old System get as much Info on old Systems and the New Systems like example p8 p9 Connectors!

  • I like this stuff lol

  • You need help!

  • You need to know what you are doing with it for a start!

  • i know exaxtly what the problem is man your case doesnt have same conections for mothr board for the power up button and the other stuff. u might have put the ram in wrong too. also the power suply can be hooked up incorrectly. i think u made a mistake messing around with that computers hardware too, you shouldnt have replaced any thing in it.

  • Hey i know your problem. it is a defective ram. i had the same problem then replaced the ram and boom it worked!!

Or it could also be your power supplie if ram fails to work after replacemen!!

  • hey i might help u move the Ram to the other slot then it sould work i had the same prob as you have,i moved the ram tho the ram slot then it worked

  • i having the same problem right now!!!i think its because we removed our graphics card now we need to find out how to get it working again!!!im trying to find a solution now!!!im going to try to replace the( cmos) battery

  • yes plug the graphics card in also take out the battery in your mobo wait a couple of seconds put it back in turn it on...is it possible u opened the case touched the mobo and felt a shock? if so its fried

  • is ur power supply big enough??

  • i have same problem pc starts up and monitor says no signal input but everything is working(i think so)... on gfx card little LEDs are glowing and cooler is spining, little light on mother board is glowing too... i have tryed everything but always the same

  • your cpu might have got fried try taking it out and placing in a old on with the same socket and if it works then we know your cpu fried

  • i tried cpu is working but i think somthing gone very bad on the mother board

  • oh yeah that can be the problem if you already removed the other cards that may beinstalled and it still doesnt work then its the board you can get some cheap boards on newegg but what is your socket

  • socket is 478 and how much are theese mbo's

  • sorry for responding late uh well a 478 is kinda old where do you live?

  • he cannot upgrade psu because u cannot put other psu on manufacter mobos (dell, hp, compaq, etc) the made custom mobos so u cannot install other psus

  • You PC must get extremely hot! your PSU cables are everywhere! - Do some cable management!!!

Does your motherboard have onboard graphics? If so, remove your GPU, re-install both memory modules and try again. If your machine POST's, then re-install your GPU, then you should be good to go.

Also, it might be an idea to try a new PSU...

  • Well what I cen see the power outlet behind the video card right next to the ram memory is disconnect it should go to one of the connections on the power supply some should say pm or something like that if it doesn't work it would probably be something else I wouldn't be able to help if I wasn't able to see the full system good luck hope it helped

  • if your video card has a fan check that its spining or check that the heatsink is hot fans die allot on cheaper video cards as for it not powering up its most likely a dead moutherbourd, cpu or maybe even power suply but check for lose conections and last resort take it to a computer shop and get them to look

  • this is why people usually have a professional do it. its easy to make a problem worse when you dont know what youre doin

  • you might've done one of those ESD like every other person does -.- jk but yeah it could've happned, try borrowing someone elses motherboard and try and plug all of your stuff in like cables making sure everything is plugged in, or pretty much it could be a dead video card :)

  • okay you need to make sure video card is getting any power you need to put everything how you did when the monitor didnt work but make sure the video card is getting powerthen it should work kinda a weird way to put it

  • It is not conected any power to the Video card

  • Connect those wires to the power supply, the video card isn't getting any power to it.

  • one might be in backwords

  • you wouldnt be able to put ram back words, because it has spacers

  • Your front USB Connects to the motherboard from a cable coming from the front of the case. If you look in your Manual or Google the motherboard model you will see where the cable goes. Hope this helps...

  • I wanted to thank everyone for their help. After shining a light, I noticed that the memory wasn't locked in all the way. I have the black cable with the white end plastic thing still not connected to anything.

THE ONLY REMAINING PROBLEM IS THE FRONT USB does not work. So I am making due with the ones on the back.

  • ive just looked at this video, so im sorry if someone has already said this but, check drivers, motherboard conection and the usb port itself

  • look up the ports for yor mother bord for front case plugs the guide will tell you what pins you plug thoes cables into and you should have fron usb

  • some of the connection leads are extra aux in my opinion you shoud stop and bring it to a shop before any further And costly damage over all happens not only that but even if it comes back on youll have bios issues to cope with (been there done that)

  • check your cables, see if the motherbord is screwed in right, check the power to that to. If that never works buy a new power cable, if that wont work then buy a new motherbord, and if that wont work still, take it to a pc repair shop.

  • you may of fried the system try the other moutherbourd and see if it still works
