False prophet. Dont listen to this man, he brings you back in your comfort zone. He says nothing about Gods word. Nothing about sin or repentance. My spirit dies when I hear this man. I had faith with me a while ago and somebody with fear gave me discouragement, but it's okay I let it go and went back to faith again.

@igeorges1220 Well if your husband is a Chriatian, good for him. Joel is a false teacher who does not preach the gospel. self help, motivational, feel good sermons is not preaching the gospel, it's man centered, not Christ centered.

Joel also believes that Christians and the cult Mormons have the same Jesus. Which they do not, this should cause some alarm for anyone listening to Joel! He also preaches a false "word of faith" teaching.

Joel did fulb on LK's show about Mormons *being of Christ*, which is not true. Although the bible speaks of the timid, fearful to speak truth, I am not holding that against Joel. Why?

Though I take issues with lakewood which conflicts with my understandings but thats God's business.

Osteen preaches not the gospel but instead New-Age/universal thought. He preaches that we all are miniature versions of God and that sin is not evil and that man has no need to become saved. He defends abortion and the myth that all faiths are true. The man is a liar!

One of his employees harassed me repeatedly over the phone in 2005-- until I threatened to call the Houston Police.

@objectivethirdparty Sin? Is that a word used anywhere else but in the bible? You have many misconceptions about Osteen. He is selective about what he preaches because he addresses his sermons to Christians. Unlike yourself, he is non-judgmental.

@k0smon Joel is a false teacher, the bible is the word of God and the truth, it is the standard. We all are sinners. Joel does not preach the gospel. You prove that, because you don't believe the bible is the word of God nor do you believe in Jesus, so you are an affirmation to those that think Joel preaches Gods word, if he did you would get saved or not listen to him.

Christians are allowed and told to judge the words of prreachers and teachers and all who claim to speak for God.

@joeforHistruth ::: Saying so does not make it so. Joel preaches to Christians. That I listen to him is a choice I make. I choose not to believe in the bible. I choose not to believe in Jesus. My choices make no difference to anyone else. I choose not to believe that the bible is "God's Word". Joel makes Christianity attractive to non believers, and you fault him for this? I've been 'saved', and choose to no longer give any credence to that.

It's not a preachers job to make the gospel attractive, it's their job to preach the whole gospel, anything less is unacceptable!

It's so nice for you to tell Joel what his job is, but he seems to be doing quite well with just God's guidance. You are right, I was never saved. How could I have been, since the person I relied on for salvation never existed?

I'm not telling Joel anything, Gods word is, i'm just the messenger. If you stand in a pulpit claiming to be a Christian you better be preaching the whole gospel. Popularity is no guage for a preacher, declaring the truth is. God is not guiding Joel sadly, maybe the god of this world Satan.
