I have to disagree with chiffmonkey... to a certain extend.

I actually think you found a good compromise by slowing the vocals down and speeding the music up slightly.

Only thing I would have done differently would be that I would have added some dancy beats since the ballad-character of 'Viva La Vida' has been changed by the speeding up, I think, and to that degree I can understand chiffmonkey. But that's a matter of personal preference and this deserves 5***** hands down.

The thing between A-ha and Coldplay is that Coldplay guys are declared A-ha´s biggest fans thats why the melody sounds similar.

Both Coldplay and A-ha are 'great' bands. What we will find in the years to come is that looking back A-ha inparticular will be rated highly. Sold over 28 million records and a career spanning 25 years is not a splash in the pan.

Unfortunately 'some' Western countries ignored A-ha after Take on me. The band was labelled and that was the end of it.

Coldplay are the genuine article.
