Can you tell me something ... i know a voices of yamaha stage kexboards ... but this voice still doesent "look like" a yamaha sound .... did you use some kind of digital hamer keyboard software for stage pianos ??? can you tel me which ??? ....

I was just wondering how this piano sounds when through loud speakers playing, alot of pianos have piss poor sound and this ones rather cheap, i want a good piano , any feedback?

@KracBlayn it sounds rubbish through it's own speakers,but much better through headphones or an external speaker setup. The NP30 is cheap and cheerful. If you wanna good piano, look elsewhere:-)

@XboxLass1234 I see that a lot of people are mixing up electric pianos with digital pianos. Digital pianos don't need tuning, electric pianos do. Electric pianos are pianos with physical hammers striking tines or reeds, like the Fender rhodes mk1 or the wurlitzer 200A. Digital pianos (like this one) use samples (recorded fragments of audio to make their sound, so they don't need tuning at all.

@skatingchink2121 , it's only about 15 watts stereo through its own speakers and doens't come with it's own sustain pedal.

I also want to know. is having weighted keys really important? Will it affect your performance later on if you're used to using semi or unweighted keys? Which is better, having full weighted keys or having graded touch? Sorry if have too many questions. I am just curious and I want to be sure of what will I use. Thanks again. Anyways, your playing is just beautiful, I wish I could be that good someday. :)

Hi TheMbelle .Yes, weighted keys are important when learning to play. I would not recommend this piano as one to learn on. It's good as a portable secondary instryment, but that's all. I have had no problems with the NP30 since I bought it, but I don't really use it all that much. Save up and buy a better model with a good weighted touch would be my best advice to you. Hi, since it's been a year you've uploaded this vid, did you encounter problems using Yamaha NP30? I've heard there's been problems with its speaker or sound after using it for months. I'm a beginner pianist and I really want a piano which is affordable and worth to buy, and this really suits but still I'm not sure if it performs great as it looks. I'd be so happy if I could buy a great piano because I've been suffering from a cheap keyboard. I will be really glad to know your answer. Thanks. :)
